Kelsey is a proud transman that is dedicated to equity and inclusion. Kelsey has worked in summer camps and youth programming for many years, and is currently serving as the 2SLGBTQ+ employee resource group chairperson for McKesson Canada. In his session, you'll learn about the gender and sexuality spectrum, how to create a sense of belonging in a camp setting, and how to foster a welcoming atmosphere about identity at an age-appropriate level. You'll walk away from this session thinking critically about your program and how you can create spaces that allow for honest self-expression. While Canada Day brings joy to millions, many grieve on this day for the generations of trauma, injustice and genocide that has occurred. While I can't personally speak to the depths of these atrocities, I can say we need to do better and we need to listen. 🧡
In the comments I have linked a few great organizations working to make a positive change in this country.

A friend of mine just showed me a couple screenshots what's going on in the newest expansion for The Sims 4. Representation in a large video game franchise like this really does make a difference.
