Did you know that Yin Yoga is my specialty? It is a practice that is so close to my heart and I love to share it with others. Even if yoga is not your thing, move your body in any way that you enjoy and however it makes sense for you - movement is great! But give Yin Yoga a chance! I am biased, but this practice is like food for your soul, and lubrication for your internal body! We have all had trauma in our lives - physical, mental, emotional. We all have stress and tension, and we carry those issues in our tissues! So release your trauma, stress, and restrictions in your connective tissues (your fascia) by coming into a specific shape with your body and hold it for a while (minimum of 3-5 minutes). As you release the gluey, bogged down restrictions in your connective tissues, the liquid ground substance within your fascia can move more freely, to reduce pain and improve your range of motion and mobility. We donβt push or force in yin - we move slowly into poses with a gentle and loving approach. I will be your guide and help you along the way. ππ₯° Message me if you have any questions, as always!
