I love this new essential oil blend called "Clarity".

Lemongrass, Rose, Cedarwood, and Neroli. It's purifying, stress-relieving/soothing, grounding, and emotionally elevating. The aroma is citrusy, woodsy, spicy, and floral.
Blended with sweet almond oil.
Heaven!

I have just created some new and exciting essential oil body blends. It's always such a beautiful journey to dive into the intelligence and healing properties of these exquisite oils.

My blends are original and unique. As far as what specific ingredients to use, I take my instructions from the oils themselves (and I ask for guidance from my pendulum that communicates with my E.O. guide Artemesia).

I purchase my products from a Canadian company in Peterborough, Ontario (Alypsis). Most of my blends come in 10 ml amber roller bottles mixed with fractionated coconut oil as the carrier.

Did you know that essential oils are used for a myriad of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual purposes? It's no wonder that, as a yoga practitioner and teacher, I love to work with them! For example, lavender balances emotions. Bergamot relieves anxiety. Coriander Seed stimulates digestion. Eucalyptus opens the respiratory system. Clary sage balances hormones, and vetiver grounds the body and emotions.

Join me this Saturday, November 13th for one of Breathe True Yoga's "Soulful Saturday Workshop Series", from 1-4pm. Together (in a small group) we will explore the many health benefits of blending these wise earth extractions from barks, roots, flowers, plants, and seeds.

I will guide the group through choosing, mixing, and creating two different perfume blends to take home. Hand-outs will be provided. Afterward, we will learn how to integrate the blends into a mindfulness meditation practice.

Soulful Saturday Series.

Join me for a series of Saturday afternoon workshops at my home studio in Guelph. These gatherings are fun, social, creative, and mindfulness-based. Connect with others in a comfortable environment and learn some new techniques to feed your playful and artistic side.

Each week there's a different theme whereby I'll skillfully lead the group through a two-part process of- 1) creating your own beautiful product to take home, and 2) learning how to use it as a mindfulness tool.

Grounding Oil Blend

Vetiver oil has a sweet, earthy smell and is used for calming anxiety. Frankincense oil is sacred and relieves stress and promotes relaxation. Lavender oil not only smells divine but helps with depression and insomnia. Benzoin oil smells slightly floral and is relaxing and warming. Orange oil lifts the mood and reduces stress.
