I came into running later in my life and was never really athletic in any way growing up. I didn’t even like running right away, (It felt soooo hard) but once I settled in and my body adapted, I grew to absolutely love it. What I didn’t realize is how much it would benefit my DJing🥳🥳🥳
🔸increased stamina to rock parties for hours and hours
🔸strong body to carry all my gear (records are friggin heavy
🔸self-awareness and confidence 🔸running is MY time to drop into my thoughts (which is why I don’t run with music/podcasts) Truly, the number of “things” I work out in my brain is pretty remarkable
🔸 RESILIENCE - I’m tough as nails, baby 😉
I don’t think running is for everyone but finding the type of movement that makes you feel GOOD is so important. How do you like to move? How does it trickle over into other parts of your life?
