If you’ve lost people since you started speaking your truth —
you didn’t lose your support system, you found out who it really was.
The ones who stay are the ones who see you, believe you, and value your healing.

& forgiveness is optional. As my fave trauma expert says, healing 1st, forgiveness after (if at all). Your choice, your wellness & safety 1st

Forgiving someone doesn’t require a seat at your holiday table.
It’s okay if peace, distance, and healing are the gifts you give yourself this year.

“You didn’t overreact. You finally reacted.”
Survivors are often told they’re crazy, dramatic, or unstable for responding to abuse — when, in reality, their reactions are normal responses to prolonged trauma.
After years of minimizing, walking on eggshells, and holding it all in, that moment you spoke up, cried, screamed, or walked away wasn’t an overreaction — it was survival.
💜 You finally chose yourself.
