We've had a busy start to our year with spots for care filling up quickly. If you're expecting a baby in June or July we have just a couple of places left for postpartum care and Aug is full!

If you're newly pregnant - congratulations! Get in touch with us to discuss your options for prenatal care that's individualized, holistic, evidence based and available regardless of your choice of birth place.

Be the village. . .

If you know someone with a baby less than 6 weeks old who could use some visits, midwives are there for the usual well baby check-ups, help with infant feeding, and post-partum health care. But bonus - all without leaving the house!

Our clients also get access to phone or text support when they need it and all their questions answered in a non-judgemental and caring way. With 15 years of expertise and 5 babies of our own, we are here to help!

A new midwifery service is poised to launch in Cape Breton!

We would like to highlight MSc student Mianh Lamson who is working on the first-of-its-kind midwife pilot program in collaboration with a primary care clinic in Cape Breton.

Leaving Puvirnituq, Nunavik, QC where I've spent an amazing month attending births (8hrs away from the nearest surgical hospital!), and providing reproductive health care services to women from the ages of 15 to 65. A beautiful place with even more beautiful people. So happy to be returning home and working on establishing the same services for my own community!

Midwifery Care serving Inverness and all surrounding communities.

Midwives are primary health care providers fully regulated and funded by the Nova Scotia Government. We provide health care services covering pregnancy, postpartum, newborn and sexual and reproductive health and more.

We work collaboratively with the Inverness Medical Clinic via Physician, Nurse Practitioner and Self referral.
