A heartfelt thank you to The Stollery Foundation for their generous $200,000 gift in support of the Foundry Kamloops capital campaign!

As early champions of this project, the Foundation—and the Bryson family—have played a vital role in launching our efforts to build a welcoming, youth-focused space for health and wellness in Kamloops.

“Investing in Foundry Kamloops is investing in the future of our youth,” said Janet Bryson, Vice President of the Stollery Charitable Foundation. “We’re proud to be part of a project that will improve lives today and for future generations.

Your support is helping us create a lasting legacy of hope and care for young people and their families.

We are so close to reaching our campaign goal! Visit interiorcommunityservices.bc.ca/fundraising or email fundraising@interiorcommunityservices.bc.ca to find out how you can support this legacy project and the future of youth wellness in our region.

Leanne brings her experience as an advocate to the conversation, highlighting how one resource alone can’t meet the growing mental health needs of youth. She shares why Foundry Kamloops will be a critical partner.

“We see the need every day in our organization. Foundry Kamloops will be an essential support system for youth and caregivers.”

The finish line is in sight—less than $1 million left to raise! Your donation helps create a future where no young person falls through the cracks. Let’s build this together.

Wellness Wednesday with Lisa! Get Outside This Fall

Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference, like stepping outside, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. A short walk, a breath of fresh air, or simply noticing the changing colours around you can help boost your mood, clear your mind, and reduce stress. You don’t need a full hike or big outing — just a moment to reconnect with yourself and the world around you.

A quick update: We’re continuing to work toward opening Foundry Kamloops, a space where youth aged 12–24 can access mental health, physical health, and social support all in one place. Your support is crucial to bringing this centre to life!

Lisa Johannesen, Manager, Foundry Kamloops, shares what makes this initiative truly unique. She explains how Foundry brings together multiple services under one roof—designed with youth, for youth—to remove barriers and offer meaningful support.

“Youth shouldn’t have to navigate a complicated system. Foundry is about meeting them where they’re at—with care, dignity, and respect.”

We’re less than $1 million away from opening Foundry Kamloops! Your support today helps build a one-stop hub where young people feel welcomed and empowered.

Idris speaks as a leader and advocate who understands how hard it can be for youth and caregivers to ask for and access help. He shares why Foundry Kamloops is essential—not only because of the services it offers—but because of the safe space it creates for youth to show up as their full selves.

“Foundry Kamloops is a space where you don’t have to hide who you are. You can be vulnerable, and you’ll be supported.”

We’re getting close—less than $1 million left to raise. Your donation can help open the doors to a place where youth feel safe, valued, and empowered.

We’re thrilled to share that an anonymous donor has made an extraordinary gift of $415,000 to the Foundry Kamloops Capital Campaign! This generous contribution brings us within reach of our goal — with less than $1 million left to raise before Foundry Kamloops opens its doors to local youth next summer.

This gift is a powerful reminder of what our community can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose — to create a space where young people can access mental health, wellness, and peer and substance-use supports in one welcoming place.

Every donation--big or small--helps make this vision a reality.

Help us close the gap and donate today! interiorcommunityservices.bc.ca/fundraising
