This is Megan 🦋

It’s been a couple of years since the last Nurse in the City story. That’s because this one is so special, and it’s been a project for about 1.5 years. I have known Megan for about a decade, and recently she overcame one of the greatest challenges that can hit a woman - breast cancer.

The gratitude that comes from being given a second chance is a kind of power that fuels LIFE CHANGING moves. Megan embodies CARE and commitment in all the dimensions of her life: she is an exceedingly talented brow artist , mother and grandmother of the cutest babies, nature and bird lover, and a wonderful philanthropist. Givers keep giving. And I love to take care of these givers, because when people are made to feel confident, refreshed and reinvigorated, they are even more empowered to KEEP DOING GOOD!

I saw Megan after she had undergone multiple surgeries and treatments to beat the breast cancer. She, like so many other women who go through this physically, mentally and emotionally gruelling marathon, felt like it left her looking worn out. She wanted to celebrate her physical and spiritual victory. But this grandmother of 2 works tirelessly to support her kiddos. She wanted to buy them a new SUV to cart around the growing family, so that meant putting her needs on the backburner for a couple years. (Sound familiar, ladies?)

When she was ready, her glowing make-under was nothing short of remarkable.
Some points of her journey included:

1 BBL/Moxi laser. This clears and improves photodamage, uneven skin tone and overall brightening. Some fine lines and textural improvement also happens after a Moxi laser treatment, her undereyes are brighter (without any filler there!)

Botox to gently lift her features and jawline, Juvederm to replace some lost fatpads and recontour her hollows and lend some firming to her jawline.

Well, our Sciton Tribrid trial is over. We zapped and tested it out on staff and appropriate patients who were up for the assignment! Skin is glowy, smooth, and the collagen and elastin will be growing for next several weeks. Stay tuned for what lies ahead… so far, the future looks sparkling ✨

Spray it every time you wash your face, let the mist settle, then do your regular skincare.
Brilliant for setting normal pH for skin (5.5)
Even tap water makes your skin too alkaline, that’s why dry skin or irritated skin will continue unless you get the proper pH and support the optimal barrrier function.
