Day 5 the heart of it all. Heart Chakra is a beautiful emerald green. Malachite (with smokey quartz to ground the energies), emeralds, green aventurine are all loving stone that open the heart and balance its energies offering a sense of love and compassion for the self and others. This chakra is in charge of the heart, lungs, armpits, and the breasts.
Imbalances in the heart chakra can leave us feeling unloved, withdrawn, and closed off emotionally.
Energy work and acupressure offers a lightness in the chest and a sense of expansion, deeper breaths and releases pressure on the "heart gasket."

Our center for communication. In charge of how we express ourselves, allowing ourselves to be heard. In charge of the throat (and ears) the thyroid, vocal cords, esophagus and tonsils.
This chakra encourages us to stand up and speak our truth. To allow ourselves to express. Over active throat chakras lead to over sharing, and talking A LOT, loud talkers. Under active is indicative of someone who doesnt speak up or share, they are quiet, were silenced at some point in their lives and often dont feel as though they have anything of value to say.
When was the last time you sang? Blue lace agate, celestite and blue calcite can help balance this chakra.

The crown chakra!
Purple, located at the top of the head, uses purple stones like amethyst, lepidiolite, and charoite. It's connected to claircognisance (clear knowing) and controls the flow of energy into the body. Imbalances can bring on headaches/migraines.
Acupressure points and energy work can help to reduce headaches and improve sleep patterns by quieting the over active/over stimulated mind.

As I sit in the quiet of the early morning and connect with the outside world, I feel a pause. Today is not a push day.
It's asking for presence and calm.
It's asking for a breath.
It's asking for conscious movement and a slower pace.
It's asking for trust and honesty, not of others but the self. Trusting your instincts and being radically honest with yourself.
Letting go of the final slip of false veil that lays across your eyes. What are you so afraid to see? What truth are you avoiding? If you take a deep breath, what grief resides in your lungs?
Let go, sweet one.
