Huge shout out to the Lake of the Woods Concert Series for bringing performer Sarah Hagen; a professional pianist, to Kenora. We are very thankful that she made time to stop by Pinecrest Home. Sarah performed for Beaver Brae Intermediate Students and Pinecrest Residents during our Generational Program today. Thank you to Sue McIntosh for helping organize this event with our home. Sarah’s performance was breathtaking; to watch her hands fly across the piano was mesmerizing, not to mention the musical composition that flowed.

Well a rainy day didn’t stop us from getting our lunch fix in!

It was a beautiful Thanksgiving season here, residents worked on many projects leading up to Thanksgiving. Huge thanks to Volunteer Trudy who did a ‘Thanksgiving’ themed card making workshop with the residents. Residents also had the opportunity to make fall flower arrangements.
