🎓 During the class, you'll learn essential skills and get hands-on practice in:

-CPR for pets

-Wound management

-Splinting

-Creating an emergency action plan

-Safely restraining and transporting pets

This workshop is instructed by WOOFA Training on behalf of Walks and Wags, Canada’s longest running pet first aid provider.

📜 Once you complete the course, you'll receive a Pet First Aid Certification that's valid for 3 years.

If your dog isn’t suited to a 10 hour group class (don’t worry, most aren’t) we'll have fake animals to give you hands practice.

Get to know the signs and symptoms of parvo

⚠️Attention⚠️

We have been made aware that there is a Parvovirus outbreak in our city! What is Parvovirus? It’s a highly contagious virus spread from dog to dog from their f***s, mainly effecting unvaccinated adult dogs and puppies (who are not old enough to have received all their puppy vaccines). If not treated and brought in for medical attention immediately, this virus could be deadly.

Symptoms we often see are lethargy, not eating, diarrhea, dark, foul smelling stool and blood in the stool.

We are advising our clients to avoid areas where dogs gather and play together (dog parks, high traffic walking-areas..etc).

If you are unsure of your dogs vaccination status or have any questions regarding Parvovirus, please give us a call at 613-384-0986.
