Pharmacists routinely navigate patient suffering, complex care environments, and the realities of a strained healthcare system. Over time, these experiences can contribute to vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and caregiver burnout—all of which can impact well‑being, professional identity, and the capacity to provide compassionate care.
Join the UGA for a free, online workshop with the School of Pharmacy’s embedded counsellor, Emma Boynton, as we explore the early warning signs of caregiver burnout and discuss evidence‑informed strategies to build resilience, set boundaries, and sustain ourselves in demanding clinical and academic settings. Together, we will consider how radical self‑care and reflective practice can support long‑term wellness in the pharmacy profession.
