Low Lunge … an easily modifiable pose. Poses have the best effect on the body AND mind when you can attain proper posture. You can use props to keep you comfortable and safe while practicing the pose. If you don’t have blocks you can use items around your house that are relatively the same size and can support having some weight on them. Your front knee should be aligned with your ankle, and not over or past your toes. Your back knee can either be aligned with your same hip, or extended further behind to add to the stretch! (You can add a blanket for your back knee, if the pressure is too much.) You want to find length in your spine and have as straight of posture as your body can manage (this is where the blocks come in handy, maintaining posture) 🧘🏼‍♀️
