Adventures Newfoundland offers Sea kayaking as well as Hiking/camping tours in the Bay of Exploits, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Adventures Newfoundland , formerly Canoe Hill Adventures, was founded in 2002 and is dedicated to providing quality sea kayaking experiences and Boat tours in the Bay of Exploits, Newfoundland and Labrador. We also offer kayak rentals as well as support to those who prefer to go it alone. Soon to come will be the addition of a remote accommodations facility located at the Surgeon Cove Head lighthouse property on historic Exploits Island.

When the weather turns, we get busy building custom trips. Our Transport Canada approved 23-foot Coastal Vokey takes you safely to the island for a full day of story and scenery. Call or email to book your 2026 date.

Make the lighthouse your goal this summer. Hike the 4.2 km trail from Butt’s Cove and add a night at the Light Keepers Inn. Ask for a sample itinerary and we will tailor it to you.
