I spend my days supervising licensed professionals, waging personal vendettas against innocent garbage cans, and locking unblinking eye contact until you feel spiritually chosen.

💒 Love language: weaponized purring, unbroken eye contact that feels illegal, and stealing your seat just to prove I can.
🚩 Red flags: disappears mid-date for a “quick nap,” eats mystery crumbs off the floor like a dare, sheds with zero remorse.

Its time for wellness Wednesday!

We all know that our furry friends need lots of care and sometimes the most important one goes under looked- hydration!

Here are some helpful things to know when it comes to hydrating your furry loved ones.

1) Stainless steel water dishes are best! Why? They are the easiest to sanitize (you can even throw them in the dishwasher!), they are non-porous and aren't made of anything that can harm our fur babies like BPAs or lead paint, and finally they are extremely durable!

2) To hydrate your feline friends try a water fountain! Cats are naturally drawn to running water, they instinctively know that running water is safer and cleaner than stagnant water. The sound and motion of flowing water appeals to their natural curiosity, which encourages increased hydration which in turn prevents kidney issues!

3) Water fountains can also bring the same benefits to our canine companions! In addition, we can offer them treats such as frozen watermelon or cucumber, add some wet food to their diets (most dogs wont say no to wet food) or even add some water to their kibble meals. You can also increase the appeal of their water by adding the odd splash of low sodium broth too!

4) Don't forget travelling! Bringing a portable water source when travelling can prevent dehydration and even more serious problems like heat stroke, especially in the hot months! There are numerous options of dog friendly (and cat friendly) water bottles that come with built in dishes to accommodate all our thirsty critters.

5) Finally, remember to clean their dishes daily, have several hydration stations available for your pets and to contact your veterinarian if your pet displays any signs of dehydration!
