✨Did you know your upper-body strength relies on more than just one muscle group. Two major contributors to upper-body strength are the biceps and the internal rotators of the rotator cuff. 💪🔥
The biceps brachii helps you flex the elbow, assists with turning your palm upward, and even plays a role in stabilizing the shoulder during lifting and pulling.
The internal rotators of the rotator cuff, especially the subscapularis, work deeper in the shoulder. They rotate the arm inward, helps to hold the shoulder joint in place, and protects it during pushing, reaching, and overhead movements.
When these muscles are strong and balanced, they improve posture, reduce shoulder strain, and help prevent injuries during sports, training, and daily tasks. Keeping them active through proper technique, mobility work, and smart strengthening makes a huge difference in long-term shoulder health. 🏋️♀️✨
