A familiar stirring is happening…
The urge to revamp, renew is upon me.
And I’m conflicted.
As I know the depth of the season.
The quiet of the winter, and the dark that is still lingering is meant for rest…
for reflection, for dreaming, for sowing, for listening.
However… lately the listening is difficult.
Social media is so noisy.
And has a real knack for throwing us off our track…
Finding ways to get away from it…
to listen to what’s coming from within me as opposed to what’s being thrown at me.
Remembering my truth, grounding in values, and losing myself to the wild…
The quiet steadiness indeed lies in the tall mighty spruce trees,
in the snow covered high hills,
in the sap filled crackle of a log…
I’m still here, but barely.

New year! New dreams! ✨🌿🪶
One thing I’ve noticed about owning and running a brick-and-mortar is the constant desire to switch things up — moving pieces to create new energy flows, building new displays, learning what works and what doesn’t. Watching what people are drawn to, what they linger with, what sparks a sense of inspiration.

And though some things have changed over the close to three years of holding this space, one thing remains deeply true to us and our brand: being rooted in tradition, slower ways of living, skilled craft, and a meaningful connection to the land.

Returning to those values — again and again — is what allows us to grow and shape our brand into something intentional, present, and strong. Something our patrons can lean on, trust, and feel inspired by.

We are not a flash in the pan.
We are built for longevity.

Purveyors of the old ways.
Of craft made with purpose. Of objects that carry story. Of a life lived a little slower, with care and devotion woven into the everyday.

You can expect more of the rooted wild, sprinkled throughout — from new seasonal offerings and quality, wholesome goods, to a quiet nudge inviting you back onto the land, to breathe a little deeper.

Here’s to another year of creating something timeless

2025. We did it.
A year that asked for presence, patience, and honesty — and offered abundance in return.

Marked by the Year of the Snake, the undertone was unmistakable: shedding. Releasing what no longer fit. Refining what truly mattered. Rooting deeper rather than reaching farther.

From a business perspective, this was my most successful year to date — something I hold with deep gratitude and pride, knowing how much work, care, and devotion it takes to build something slow and meaningful. This year’s intention was simple: stay close to home, sink roots into the land and community around me, and create experiences that felt rich, grounded, and real.

And we did exactly that.

More workshops. More gatherings. And the launch of our Twilight Music & Market series — a true highlight of the year. To everyone who showed up, participated, shared, supported, and helped bring these moments to life: thank you. This work is built together.

We also expanded into new retail spaces across the country — a quiet but powerful kind of growth — and we carry that momentum forward into 2026. Through it all, TWS continues along the same guiding thread: connection to land, to craft, and to community.

On a personal level, this year was just as full.

I’m deeply grateful for the life I’ve worked to create — one that feels aligned, intentional, and deeply lived. I’m proud of the people I share it with, and of the relationships I’ve nurtured and deepened along the way. This year asked me to soften: to let walls down, to speak my truth more freely, and to trust in being seen.

Because of that, my world feels richer. More vibrant. More alive.

As we step into 2026 — the Year of the Horse — I feel movement stirring. A pull toward learning, evolution, and creating something new with my hands, my mind, my heart, and my soul. A shift in craft. A call to something….

May this year bring vitality and brave beginnings.
May opportunities gallop toward you.
May your wild soul feel awakened and unafraid.

The sky is the limit. I am free to create and experience a life that feels the most authentic to me. Whatevr unfolds next—it will be marvelous...

~A Special Limited Collection~
Winter’s Wild is a curated collection crafted for the season’s deepest moments — the long nights, the cold that settles into the bones, and the quiet that asks us to turn inward. Born of frost, forest, and slow-burning warmth, these offerings honor the rhythm of winter: the dark, the rest, and the restoration.
Each offering is a small ritual of its own — a way to soften, to breathe, to steep in stillness. Blends of rich minerals, healing botanicals, and warming spice work together to soothe the body, ground the spirit, and hold you through winter’s longest nights…
Available in store and online now. Quantities limited. āœØā„ļø

We Are All Connected....

The Wild Stuff is here to share, explore, and practice traditional crafts and wellness alike. Creating quality wildcrafted medicines, supplying superfood ingredients for deeper connection to self and bringing awareness to our relationships with what we put into our bodies, while helping expand self awareness and healing through wilderness connection, and through these practices, creating a global community rooted in the preservation of traditional craft and skill and sharing knowledge and stories with generations to come.

What started as a deep curiosity quickly turned into a passion. Connecting with plants and learning how herbs could help and treat me on many different levels really opened up a beautiful path that I no idea lay before me. Finding a self awareness so deep within me through being outdoors, walking with nature and breathing with the seasons, I started to understand the relationships and the importance of spirit and connection to the earth. Like many peoples before us, they too embodied this connection and was one with it. Connecting with more like minded folk, mentors, dream work, and divine guidance really helped concrete what it is I was meant to be doing. Helping share this divine knowledge, how people can connect and show people the true benefits of connecting with nature, not only through medicines but foods as well, as they go hand in hand. Food is Medicine. Just recently have we expanded our experience in to the use of herbs and plants as super foods. Implementing them into our daily routines, researching, feeling the effects while being guided, I, personally noticed an unremarkable positive transformation just not in how we feel, but how we think and experience the world around us. Ingesting just that of what the earth medicine can give us, helps root us and connect us back to the circle. And you can absolutely feel this on a cellular level. Having such positive effects on my life through the use of super foods in elixirs and cooking, I knew I wanted to share this with our followers and supporters of The Wild Stuff. Deepening their connection to the earth as well as themselves and their awareness around health and nourishing the body. While spending time in nature to connect, ground, and revitalize, we understood the need for this on a global level. It was then we created The Wild Stuff ā€˜Goes Global’. A non profit educational organization rooted in the preservation of Traditional Crafts and skill. We travel the globe to connect with other teachers, mentors, crafters, herbalists etc. to share knowledge together and learning from one another to then passing this knowledge to the younger generations. Getting children excited about the world around them while teaching them skills to thrive in the natural world not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and ultimately spiritually. We believe when you obtain a strong self awareness at a younger age, you are then prone to better understanding within yourself and others, understanding emotions, how to manage and deal with stress, a better knowledge in how to communicate and with these acquired skills through self awareness you will ultimately make better decisions not just for you, but others as well. This then rippling through the ages to create a better world to come. The Wild Stuff is here to learn from its peers, connect through community while sharing deep knowledge. Moving with the seasons, and honing skills of the natural world. The way nature intended it to be. Lets get back there, we are all connected.
