Hello again! I am back with a Week 2 update on my Animal Welfare course.

Last week, we got the historical perspective of the 5 Freedoms of Animal Welfare. This week, we established the continuation of the welfare frameworks and discussed the 5 Domains: Nutrition, Environment, Health, Behavior, and Mental Domain, encompassing the Welfare state of a particular animal.

This week we said goodbye to a dear herd member who always lived up to her name: Sweet Georgia Brown. After a long painful fight it became clear it was time to transition. The huge number of hearts she opened with her wide eyed and powerful presence will always be gratefully remembered.

Sweet dreams dear Georgie, may your wings take you over the rainbow where you can run free again. 🐎🤍 You are already deeply missed. Whinnies and Nickers.
