🧿I have been through a lot the past year, lots of breaking then rebuilding, standing still then growing, unlearning then relearning - more so feels like a remembering. I attended a medicine ceremony last summer that shook my entire being, picked me up & literally moved me onto another path entirely, left me questioning what on Earth I am here for. After much turmoil, sadness & unknowing, a flame was lit brightly before me – I followed. I picked up pieces & people along the way & each experience of this remembering brought me to a new piece & person (more so a guide). Every person & learning was familiar, maybe from another timeline or dimension – but all the while both comforting & uncomfortable. It began with new work, shedding relations, loneliness, then learning of the Goddesses which lead to finding my voice, to hiding away & then dealing with medical issues & appointments to which seemed there was no end. This all brought me to the doorstep of an ever so knowledgeable woman filled with wisdom, knowing, compassion & care who continues to guide me in the ancient ways of my lineage & opened my curiosity to a whole new world - bodywork, herbology & eating in a cleaner & more purposeful way, the way it used to be once long ago in the time of our elders💗

Then I decided that with all that I have learned and the knowledge which I have collected in the past 6 years, I will alchemise it all into something new and work from my heart, create something of passion & devotion. Of course this meant I wanted to start a fresh canvas & rebrand my logo…

The Buddha Bar Holistic Wellness - here I offer Ancient Bodywork practices relearned from my lineage (my grandmother was comparable to an Ayurdoula & practiced Herbology & Bodywork for people of her village). I will continue to offer Sound Healing/Journeys & Reiki & will continue working towards offering more Ancient Rituals, Ceremony, Practices & working with both Oils & Herbs 🌿

You are most welcome to DM me with questions, follow my business page .buddha.bar.holistic or book an appointment through the booking link: https://thebuddhabarholistic.setmore.com

I am offering a referral loyalty program, please DM for more information. 🧿

Karnapooranam
The Ayurvedic Art of Ear Oiling💦 - I will soon be offering this magical service!!

Our ears are known for their keen sense of hearing - translating vibrations into both energy & sound.
The word Karna is derived from the ancient Sanskrit language and translates to “ear.” Puranam/Poornam translates to *to fill”

Ear Oiling is a deeply nourishing & ancient practice with so so many benefits. With all the hustle of our everyday lives, our ears are often overly exposed to outside noise & environmental pollution. When the ears are filled with oil it creates a nurturing & ever so comforting barrier to sound. At the same time quieting the mind and letting the ears rest. The silence is divine, the only way I can best describe it is that of feeling as it would have felt once when in the womb. This silence is a great opportunity to dial the day down and calm the mind, foster intuition, and promote deep sleep. Our ears & mind are laid to rest as it tunes out the outer world and brings one back to our ownness and essence. It’s simply ✨

Some benefits to Karnapooranam:

💎believed to be effective in treating infections of the ear, ringing in the ears, and some forms of hearing impairments.
💎It helps cleanse the ear canal and middle ear by pulling out any impurities in that area.
💎Supports healthy production of earwax
💎Prevents the small ear bones (ossicles) from drying out
💎Calms the mind and soothes the nervous system
💎Helps deal with sleep disorders and anxiety
💎Prevents tremors and Parkinson’s with regular practice
💎Relieves headaches
💎Reduces pain in the neck and jaws.
💎Promotes clarity, calmness, balanced energy and intelligence.
💎benefits in psychological disorders like sleeplessness, depression and stress induced migraine by calming down brain and mind.

I’ve been walking along this spiritual path for the past 6 years, awakening suddenly after the birth of my daughter - at that moment coming into realization that our whole lives we have been conditioned to believe in certain ways, but in fact that conditioning has been passed down from generation to generation. And now, as I walk along this new path I find myself unlearning and relearning what is right. It takes time and patience to relearn what we know is true in our hearts and we meet others in the path who guide us to find our true knowing. I saw this illustration today And it reminded me of my path and of all those whom have helped me find my way. Filled with so much gratitude 🙏🏼 thank you to each of you for your knowledge, love acceptance and guidance for walking with me to find the true me: OI will continue to walk this path and am excited for all that is waiting for me and of course all of you.

AYURVEDIC HEAD MASSAGE (Shiro Abhyanga)

What is it?

An ancient Indian healing practice, it is a nurturing style of massage using WARM aromatic oils along with essential oils.

This deeply meditative massage focuses on the upper chest area, shoulders, neck, face, and the entire scalp.

This massage nourishes your mind, works to disperse blocked energy within your body and releases endorphins - which are hormones that make you feel happy.

This specific treatment will leave you feeling deeply relaxed, restored, grounded, and uplifted in mind, body and soul. It works to calm the nervous system and allows you to make space for self-reflection and over time creates alertness and improved concentration through the increased circulation of cerebral fluid in and around the brain.

Some benefits of regular head massages: Calms your mind and rejuvenates your soul, relaxes your eyes (less eye strain), promotes the draining of your lymphatic system, relieves mental and emotional stress, helps with insomnia and over time can reduce anxiety. It can also promote hair growth, enhance hair texture and is known to prevent greying by increasing oxygen circulation and nutrients to the hair follicles by stimulating proper blood circulation of the scalp.

👉👉✨✨A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure of being trained to perform this treatment by the sweet Bindu (🙏🏼 thank you thank you) and I am now looking for some Guinea pigs (or models) to practice on to get both practice and my certification! I will be infusing Reiki, Sound and anything that comes intuitively into the session and would love some feedback and mostly practice!

Please DM me if you are interested, this will be done at my home in Cloverdale starting in June.

What is Ayurveda you might ask?

Well I stumbled upon this way of life on the quest to heal my digestion /lymphatic system issues which have both progressed drastically over the past few years…on such quest I found something new to embark on, this is going to be amazing ✨

In Sanskrit AYUR means LIFE and VEDA means KNOWLEDGE.

The practice of Ayurveda looks at treating the whole body as one system by maintaining balance of all elements within the body as well as the mind.

In Ayurveda, the body is regarded as a temple (as it should), and the head is considered the altar of the temple. Once the mind relaxes into a state of ease, then the body can also follow - The body and mind are connected as one.

When I think about it, I like to visualize the body like a tree that is upside down - the root endings are found at our head and they each travel down to various parts in our body.

Over the past few months – I have really been diving into learning more about the Chakra system and how it works both with and against us. In Sanskrit Chakra refers to a wheel, so I like to envision each of the median points as spinning disks of energy, each of these energy disks should be open and aligned. Each point acts as a “headquarter” in our bodies linking various bundles of nerve endings, major organs and also align with our moods, energy and physical wellbeing.
Starting from the bottom: The Red is our ROOT (Muladhara) chakra and relates to security, trust and safety. The orange is our SACRAL (Svadhisthana) chakra which relates to our sexuality and creativity. Yellow is our SOLAR PLEXUS (Manipura) chakra and relates to our wisdom and power. Green represents the HEART (Anahata) Chakra and as you would guess it relates to all things love and healing. Next up we find out upper chakras - THROAT (Vishudda), THIRD EYE (Ajna) and our CROWN (Sahaswara) chakras representing communication/self expression, Intuition + sense of purpose and spirituality / connection to source (God, Universe, Higher Beings). raiseyourvibration

This photo popped out at me, the colours so wondrous and vibrant - exactly what has been and is happening on my journey.
Appreciating the beauty in the little things, slowing down and showing gratitude towards all that has come and is becoming ❤️ it’s been a long while since I have been seen, although the process at times has been trying - something inside me is brewing.
