For this seasonal circle, we will honour the shifting cycles around us, tapping into the medicine of nature as it guides our way. During our time together we will sit with the lessons of the dark, and call in the light once again. 

Honouring the New Year | Cacao Circle | January 12 | 6-9pm | Maple

As we step into the New Year this will be a space to dive deep into our yearly themes and intentions, setting aside time to envision how we want to feel for the next year. During this time we will honour the magic of the unseen and unknown, tapping into the depths of who we are and what we want to call in. During this Cacao we will sit with the lessons of the past year, and reflect on what we want to bring with us into the upcoming year.

My favourite circle of the year. This is a space for deep honouring, holding grief tenderly and celebrating loved ones who have passed on. During this evening circle we will sit closely with the thinning veil between worlds, embracing the darkness and celebrating the lives of those who live on in our hearts.

As many of you know I have been working towards my Master of Counselling (MC) over the past couple of years. I am now in the process of waiting for registration to become an RCC!

Thank you to all of the incredible clients who have stepped into this container with me over the last 6 months, your journeys and trust have impacted me deeply.

I have now opened up more spaces to see clients starting in September both in person in Whonnock and online. These sessions are offered at sliding scale rate of $40-$70 per 50-minute session. I am also providing one free initial consultation session to those who would like to learn more about counselling and how we might work together. As many of you know I am currently completing my Master of Counselling. Upon completion in the Fall, I will register as a Clinical Counsellor (RCC) here in British Columbia.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Between April - October 2023 I will be working with a select number of clients to complete my internship hours. These sessions will be offered at a reduced sliding scale (pay what you can) rate of $30-$50 per 50-minute session. Session availability will include both online and in-person in Maple Ridge & Port Moody.

A little more about my counselling approach,
I view healing holistically, honouring the mental, emotional, spiritual, social and physical aspects of self. As a counsellor, I desire to walk beside others as they explore components of themselves living beneath the surface, providing a space where the human experience is honoured in all its pieces. My approach to working with others is integrative, merging science and psychology with the unique medicine we each hold.

Within these sessions I will also be incorporating my training and experience with Clinical Hypnotherapy, Yogic Philosophy, Movement + Meditation and Ritual/Ceremonial Practices.

If you have attended any of my cacao circles, you know I am incredibly passionate about properly sourcing cacao. I have travelled to many of the countries cacao grows in, from Peru to Costa Rica to Mexico. This includes meeting and developing relationships with the folks who grow and harvest the cacao I have offered since starting my circles in 2019. Aspects such as growing practices, honouring Indigenous culture + tradition and supporting small local businesses are essential when choosing the plants to sit with.

This past October, I spent some time in Oaxaca, Mexico and connected with two incredible humans, Ruth and Ervit. Their small business, Chimalapa, grows and harvests cacao on family farms in the Oaxacan State. They then alchemize the cacao into various offerings, including pure cacao, spiced blends, cacao nibs and chocolate bars. Ruth and Ervit's traditional ties, passion and knowledge of cacao inspired me to bring cacao back to Canada, not only for my circles but also to share with others interested in developing a personal practice with cacao.

This is 100% Cacao (Forestero variety) in 500g bags, which will create approximately 15 - 20 cups.

After moving and settling into my new home I am now ready to start getting the first shipment to their proper homes! However, I lost my list in the move of people who expressed interest previously. Please send me a message or comment below if you would like some ✨🍫
