BII- Have you heard of it? Well if you haven’t you’re not alone. Did you know that over 400,000 women a year get breast implants- 75% for cosmetic reasons and the others for reconstruction.
I joined that 75% in 2009, I was a young mom who had nursed 2 kids and lost 30lbs. I wasn’t happy, I felt I wasn’t feminine enough, especially being so young. I didn’t go crazy- I only filled what was once there. 310cc Allergan textures silicone implants. I was SO happy!! I could finally wear bathing suits and dresses and shirts and feel confident! I felt like a real woman again.

Fast forward to 2019, I’m reading a news article about Canada banning Allergan textured silicone implants- the very ones I have, due to a rare lymphoma they can cause. I couldn’t shake that article..A week later I came across this Instagram video- there was a young woman in tears and the heading was Breast Implant Illness. Intrigued I clicked and watched. What I learned took my breath away. It was the answer I needed. I knew these bags of toxic 💩 had to come out of me.
Many appointments, specialist referrals, explant consults, breast ultrasounds and a mammogram later I was finally referred to my explant surgeon. If you’re in the lower mainland and want specific info pm me.

So here I am, scared to death to put this out there but on a mission to help any woman who will listen. If you know someone with implants, tell them. If you know someone or are someone who wants implants, please DON’T DO IT. Join the BII Facebook group with thousands & thousands of women who’s lives have been ruined by implants. Who suffer with things like auto immune disorders, fatigue, head fog, poor vision, hair loss, nausea, cancer, IBS, Lupus, aches, pains...the list is endless-all because of the disgusting toxic bags inside them. Ladies- b***s don’t make us more of a woman, they don’t define who we are and they sure as hell don’t change our worth. If you do decide you still want them well, that’s your right, but at least don’t do it blindly. Educate yourself. I don’t know anything like what I do now. (Cont. in comments)
