The Sand Play Area Is Back — Better Than Ever!

After a year and a half, one of our most-loved play areas has officially returned at Jolly Bubble North York.

Many of you may remember the sand pit at Jolly Bubble Markham when we first opened—it was one of the kids’ favorite spots. At the time, we made the decision to remove it after listening to parent feedback and prioritizing safety.

We also promised that when it came back, it would be safer and better designed.

✨ And now, it’s here.

Our upgraded sand play area features natural pine wood pellets 🪵—larger, rounded, and gentle to the touch. It’s safer for little ones and great for sensory play and fine motor development. With a variety of digging tools and interactive toys, kids can fully immerse themselves in play.

After two weeks of soft opening, the feedback has been amazing—kids love it, and parents feel more at ease.

This winter, Santa teamed up with Jolly Bubble Foundation and our Markham location to launch a special Wish Come True initiative.

During the holiday season, every child receives a wish card to write down their dream gift and place it on our Wish Wall 💌

Each week, Santa picks one lucky wish and helps make it come true 🎄
