Occasional heartburn isn’t always about “too much acid.”
Sometimes it’s poor timing, heavy meals, or stress slowing digestion.
Baking soda works as a temporary buffer, not a fix. It can neutralize acid short-term, but frequent use can backfire by weakening digestion and increasing sodium load.
If heartburn is regular, the real solution is supporting meal timing, bile flow, and stomach signaling — not chasing relief.
Use occasionally. Fix the root cause.
