Peer Support Centre- MHC The Peer Support Coordinator offers free confidential counseling services to students Walk-in appointments may be available at other times.

The Students’ Association of Medicine Hat College knows that college life can be stressful. The Peer Support Coordinator offers free confidential counselling services to students. Students are welcome to meet with the Peer Support Coordinator regarding a variety of personal issues, such as stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, and much more. Private counselling appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Peer Support Coordinator at 403-502-8992 or at Sa_psc@mhc.ab.ca . Drop-in counselling sessions are available from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Fridays. Feel free to drop by the Peer Support Centre to see if the Peer Support Coordinator is available.

“The Peer Support Centre also specializes in “peers helping peers”. Peer supporters are students just like you, who have been trained to assist others while ensuring a safe and confidential atmosphere. If you would like to talk to a peer support centre volunteer please drop by the Peer Support Centre”.
