Your brain has a “cozy living room” where your feelings live.
It’s called the limbic system.
It’s your emotional engine.
It helps you feel, remember, and care.
When something happens, your survival brain (basement) asks,
“Am I safe?”
Then your feeling brain (living room) asks,
“How do I feel about this?”
That’s why:
* The same thing can feel small one day
* And HUGE the next day
This room holds:
* Old memories
* Old hurts
* Good, warm moments too
You are not “too emotional.”
Your brain is using old stories to make sense of today.
When you understand your limbic system,
you stop blaming your feelings
and start listening to what they’re trying to tell you.
Save this if your emotions feel “too much”
and share it with someone who feels misunderstood.
