Treating dark scars on deeper skin tones is an art of its own. Understanding how ink is going to heal, the colour correction that's going to happen, and how melanated skin is going to respond…all of these factors need to be taken into consideration.
My clients have tried topicals and lasers and then come to me to conceal their scars.
Though not easy, we can definitely make a difference.

If fancy equipment is holding you back from starting a career in paramedical tattooing…or you’re about to drop $1000+ on a high-end pen as a beginner…I’m going to stop you right there.

You do not need it.

I tell every single one of my students the same thing…save that budget. Put it into sales, marketing, and advertising.
Get clients. That’s what builds a business.

I’ve been using the same equipment for 5 years. My students start with the same equipment.
Never had issues.

Will I upgrade one day? Probably. But that day is not today and it shouldn’t be yours either, not yet.

Start with the $200 - $300 pen.
Invest in solid training.
And more importantly…invest in ongoing support.

My students from 2 years ago still come back to me, for free, to practise. I’m not here to tell you my training is the best or perfect. But I will tell you this…when my past students reach out, I show up for them. Every time.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a career in paramedical tattooing or adding it to your existing beauty services…

My top tips for messing up your paramedical tattoo clients’ results.

1-Take a training that covers paramedical tattooing, ar**la restoration, under eye camouflage, and every other service they can squeeze into the curriculum. Get a high-level overview of all of it, but master none of it. Then go straight to working on clients.

2- No understanding of overtones and undertones. Can’t read skin or assess what’s in front of you.

3- Zero knowledge of ink chemistry or how ink heals inside the skin.

4- No idea how deeper Fitzpatrick types behave or how to adjust your inkless and camouflage work to treat them.

5- Use the same stroke on every stretch mark and scar, regardless of texture, depth, or tissue type.

This is why I built my program differently.

There’s no two-day or even a three-day training that is going to completely prepare you for the paramedical tattoo industry. I spent $20,000 taking multiple trainings, most of them in the U.S., and I’m still adjusting formulas and learning every day. Ongoing support is key to success.

Taking trainings that don’t combine multiple services is the next. There’s no way you’re going to learn ar**la training and under-eye dark camouflage at the same time as treating scars and stretch marks. You can kiss thousands of dollars goodbye .

I still have students from two years ago that are in contact with me and come back for help. This is what I wish was available to me when I went through my trainings, and I’m determined to provide that for my students.

I know what that feels like. The daily grind.

Whether you’re still going into an office every day.
Or working from home but never actually feeling free.
Or booking yourself back-to-back with clients, exhausted and unfulfilled.

Waking up tired.
Going to bed tired.
Quietly asking yourself, Is this really how it’s going to be forever?

That used to be me.

I was in a corporate job I hated.
I went over $100,000 into debt trying to figure it out.
I spent years taking programs, trying different paths, starting over again and again.
And failing. At everything.

Until I found paramedical tattooing.

And everything changed.
I make my own hours.
There’s no cap on my income.
I don’t answer to anyone.
I take time off when I need to.
I’m not stuck in a studio if I don’t have clients.
I work from cafés and wherever else I want.

It gave me freedom.
Time freedom.
Financial freedom.
And most importantly, control over my future.

If this is you…

You can learn undertones and overtones.
But none of it means anything if you don’t understand how ink actually heals in the skin.
And none of it means ANYTHING if you can’t match skin tone in the first place.
A lot of trainers are really good at making this look easy.
‼️They sell you on colour theory.
‼️ They sell you on ink chemistry.
‼️ They sell you on the income potential.

They make it look like a walk in the park.
But here’s what they don’t tell you…
If you can’t match ink? You have nothing.
If the technique is too complex? You’ll spend months…minimum a year…trying to figure out the basics.
And if the formulas you’ve been given don’t produce results?
You just flushed a minimum of $6,000 down the drain.
I know because I lived it.
That’s why I developed my own technique, combining multiple industry methods into one system that works.

✅ How ink heals in skin
✅ How to understand skintone
✅ A technique simple enough to execute consistently from the start.

You don’t need to waste $10,000 and years of trial and error like I did.

I almost gave up paramedical tattooing after investing $20,000 and nearly losing everything.

Lack of mentorship.
No colour matching system that worked.

Thousands of dollars in the hole, figuring it out trial by error on clients.

Theory is one thing but putting ink matching into actual practice is another. You think you’re making all the right decisions, the right investments, and you still come out short.

It nearly broke me.

So I built my own colour matching system from scratch. Because I had no other choice.
And that decision changed everything.

1- Understanding skin tone is one thing
2- Understanding how ink heals is another.
3- Not to mention matching skin tone.
You need to have a solid understanding of all three. One is useless without the other.

I’m not special. I didn’t have some secret advantage.
I just refused to quit when it got hard and I refused to let my students go through what I went through.
Even if it means changing inks and retraining them.
I will do what it takes.

That’s why I now teach paramedical tattooing the way I wish someone had taught me.
The colour system. The roadmap.
With everything I spent $20,000 learning the hard way.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start getting results for your clients.
Or if you’re wondering if Paramedical Tattooing is right for you
