Hey my fellow New Brunswickers. It's time for some action. I've heard that if this plant gets built, because of the amount of energy used by data centres, our hydro bills could be astronomical. Apparently a similar plant in Georgia saw the residents hydro bills increase by 300%. Our rates are already ridiculous.

Cost of living is already crazy and hydro rates are soaring. Expenses are rising and income is diminishing.

In a meeting this morning I heard there are talks about building not just one data centre but two here in New Brunswick. Quebec has it right. No on can build data centres without government approval.

AND, to make it worse, the American company that's part of this initiative, is a Donald J. Trump supporter. If we let their foot through the door, it's the beginning of the end. We don't want any of tRump's MAGAts fooling around on our Canadian soil.

As wildfires rage this summer, NB Power and the provincial government are rushing to push through approval for a controversial, American-owned gas generation plant.

Had to correct this as it’s a misconception and waste of energy to think that you or I can change another person. We can lead by example, but the other person has to see a change is needed and they have to do the changing of their own accord.
