ACP Tara recently spent some time with the Grade 2 students at Le Sommet, sharing what it’s like to be a paramedic and answering lots of great questions! The class had a wonderful time learning about paramedics and all the ways they help keep our communities safe. 🚑💬

She sent along some photos from her visit; it looks like everyone had a great time learning together!

The Government of New Brunswick is investing $6.5 MILLION 💰 into a new bursary program to support paramedic and EMT students who train right here in NB! 🎓💪

Students who commit to a return-of-service contract with Ambulance New Brunswick can now get their tuition reimbursed! 🙌

🎃 ANB Halloween Highlights! 👻

Our teams had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween across the province! From Trunk-or-Treats to Touch-a-Truck events, our paramedics loved connecting with communities, handing out treats to kids (and maybe a few adults too 😉), and showing everyone what it’s like inside an ambulance.

Lindsay joined the Home & School event in Harvey, Patrick and some Medavie HealthEd students visited Rotary Park, our Moncton team took part in an event at Evergreen, and Rebecca and Zoe helped welcome more than 700 visitors at Codiac Transpo!

We’re so proud of our staff for representing ANB with enthusiasm and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who helped make these events such a success, and to all the families who stopped by to celebrate safely with us. 💙

Print out a copy of your emergency contacts and post it where everyone can see it, like the fridge or a family bulletin board.

🧲 In an emergency, having that info visible could save precious time.

We’re celebrating Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week 2025! 💙

Meet Véronique, one of our amazing Nurse Practitioners with NB Health Link in Moncton. 👩‍⚕️

After starting her career as a Registered Nurse, Véronique was inspired by the incredible NPs she worked with and their compassionate, patient-first care. This led her to complete her master’s degree and become an NP herself, joining NB Health Link first as a student and now as a Nurse Practitioner.

“To me, being an NP means really listening to what a patient is going through and taking a thorough, person-centred approach. It’s about seeing the whole person, not just the clinical side.”

Every day looks a little different for Véronique. She provides both in-person and virtual care, helping people across New Brunswick access primary healthcare when they need it most. What she loves most about NB Health Link is the strong teamwork between NPs, nurses, clinicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, all working together to support patients.

This week, we’re proud to celebrate Véronique and all our NB Health Link Nurse Practitioners for the compassionate, high-quality care they provide across New Brunswick. 💙

🚑 Oromocto Fire Department Open House 🚒

Many families from the community stopped by the Oromocto Fire Department’s Open House on October 9th! Our medics from Jemseg station had a great time meeting everyone, handing out recruiting cards, and giving kids (and a few adults!) a chance to explore the ambulance up close.

A big thank you to our paramedics Haley L., Stephanie, Leslie, and Haley M. for representing ANB and connecting with the community. 👏
