🎓💙 Supporting the Next Generation of Nurse Practitioners 💙🎓

We were proud to welcome 13 students from the Master’s program in Nurse Practitioner Practice at the Université de Moncton as they completed their first 50-hour clinical placement at NB Health Link in Moncton.

By meeting with patients in a real clinical setting, these students are gaining valuable hands-on experience while helping improve access to care for communities across New Brunswick.

A big thank you to our dedicated teams and to these future nurse practitioners for their commitment to patient care and to the future of health care in our province.

Meet Véronique, one of our amazing Nurse Practitioners with NB Health Link in Moncton.

After starting her career as a Registered Nurse, Véronique was inspired by the incredible NPs she worked with and their compassionate, patient-first care. This led her to complete her master’s degree and become an NP herself, joining NB Health Link first as a student and now as a Nurse Practitioner.

Every day looks a little different for Véronique. She provides both in-person and virtual care, helping people across New Brunswick access primary healthcare when they need it most. What she loves most about NB Health Link is the strong teamwork between NPs, nurses, clinicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, all working together to support patients.

We’re proud to celebrate Véronique and all our NB Health Link Nurse Practitioners for the compassionate, high-quality care they provide across New Brunswick.

🚨🚓🔥 First Responders Appreciation Night 🔥🚓🚨

We were proud to participate in the ceremonial puck drop at the Moncton Wildcats game on November 23rd, in recognition of the incredible dedication of our first responders.

The puck drop featured our Operations Manager, Mark Hicks, alongside members of the RCMP and the Moncton Fire Department. The moment was especially meaningful as we celebrate the Moncton Fire Department’s 150 years of service to our community.

Meet Alyson, a recent graduate of one of New Brunswick’s paramedic courses. Alyson is getting her tuition costs completely reimbursed thanks to the Government of New Brunswick bursary program for paramedic and emergency medical technician students who train in New Brunswick and commit to a return-of-service contract with Ambulance New Brunswick. Alyson talks about why she chose paramedicine as a career, and how the tuition reimbursement will help her get started!

💪 NB Health Link was proud to be recognized by the Health Standards Organization (HSO) and Accreditation Canada as a Leading Practice in 2025!

✅ Since launching in 2022, NB Health Link has delivered over 100,000 appointments to New Brunswickers. There are clinics in all seven health zones in the province, and NBHL offers virtual appointments if travel is difficult.

New Brunswickers without a primary care provider can register for NB Health Link using their active Medicare card.
