Due to its popularity, farmers have made it one of the top priorities of growth, but supply and demand has gotten way out of hand.
To keep up with the ever growing love and consumption of this product, farmers and scientists decided to make it the top priority of modification to grow quicker, and to withstand weather... the consequences of our greed...
Read below the following.

Gmo soy takes up over 90% of the soy crops in the united states, which has trickled down in to all Westernized and most unWesternized countires.
Soy naturally has estrogenic properties and is great for women who are going through menopause....
Yet GMO soy has a different composition of DNA which the body does not know how to process. Causing auto-immunity ( the cells attacking one another from the inside )
Cancer ( too many putrified cells and debree in the body- mainly the gut)
Liver disease.
Leaky gut syndrome.
Hormonal imbalances causing Pre menstrual syndrome, infertility and so so so much more.
Its sad, it really is...
But that's it ladies and gentleman.
Due to the non dislcosure of products containing GMO ingredients, when buying soy products, its best to get organic- it in its self is health insurance.

STAY YOUTHFUL STAY VITAL = WATER

How much water is too much water?
There is much debate on this.
Every person is different by the way, there is no one general rule for eveyone on how much their body needs. Being in a hot environment means that you need to cosume more fluids- breathing, sweating, crying, urinating, digesting, and even defecating uses water! 55-70 % of our mass is water!!

So where is all the danger hype coming from!? - When "too much" water is consumed, (water regulator and electrolyte ) can drop too low, possibly creating a condition called - flooding the cells causing them to expand, which is harmful to the kidneys, and to the brain- leading to seizures and can cause death.

Simple solution! High quality sodium and not only have quality sodium but also have an average 85 varied that our body needs to function.
Putting 1/2 a tsp of these salts in to a Lt of water will ensure our electrolyte/ fluid balance, will keep us hydrated longer and functioning healthily!

I have adapted the philosophy of -I would not use anything on my body I would or could not eat-
In saying that I have decided to make my face scrub, and tooth paste all from natural ingredients!!
It is sustainable, easy, and so much fun!!
Did I mention how good they are for you!?
In the photograph is my # toothpaste which are #, # and refreshing!! Oddly enough the tumeric; notorious for staining everything it touches, actually whitens your teeth!

And my favorite facial scrum of coconut oil, finely ground # and apple cider vinegar.
Coffee is great for pulling out toxins, a.c.v is an anti bacterial and coconut oil for moisture!!

Its efficient, environment and body friendly.

I've been asked a couple of times to explain what a "phyto-nutrient" is.
So to clear up some muddled confusion I will break it down simply.
You have 3 categories
# nutrients (Protien, Carbohydrates, and Fats)
# nutrients ( vitamins and minerals ) and lastly but certainly not least # nutrients.
Phyto means # in Greek.
Asides from the traditional vitamins and minerals plants provide, it also provides Flavanoides and carotenes, alkaloids, and tannins which do not have any particular nutrient composition, but are major #!! Enrichment for both the soul and eyes; out numbering traditional nutrients by about 10,000-1. They have vibrant colours, textures, smells and tastes. They ward off desease, and help a simulate the micro and macro nutrients we ingest by stimulating the experience of eating

Do you have an enormous sweet tooth?
Find you have unbearable cravings for sugar??
Well I am not saying this is 100% going to work for everyone. But this worked for me.
When our body cries for sugar, it is actually craving fiber.
Fiber is found in Nuts, Seeds, and complex carbs!
You see when we eat carbohydrates it is broken down in our body as sugars ( glucose) which is used for energy.
Fiber keeps us fuller for longer, and keeps us regular ( you know what I mean ;) )

Ever wonder why we get that afternoon slump? Melatonin ( the neuro transmitter for relaxation and sleep) levels are naturally raised giving us this need for a afternoon "sugar boost"
Im not saying eat enormous amounts of nuts and fiber in one go..oh noo that is a remedy for constipation ( a whole nother subject to discuss!!)
Any adjustments we make must be done gradually to allow out bodies to adjust.
So take a little extra fiber and see if it helps!! :D

It seems that these days so many people are "going on" a diet to achieve fast results to feel better about themselves.

A little story: I used to be one of those people, but as fast as the results came, they disappeared just as quickly. Why is this? - I wondered for years why my weight was always fluctuating, the truth is- it's not " going on a diet" its "changing your diet!"

Everyone has a diet that they live on. The goal here is not to limit yourself or to cut out everything leaving you starved, and feeling deprived. Its about finding # foods that make you feel at your most optimal ( energetic, vital and vibrant). Moderation! Dedication! and Determination! are important key factors - The slower, and more steady the results; the easier it is to maintain.

Most importantly -LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!- So many people just cram in food. Being intuned with ourselves helps us know which foods make us feel alive, and which ones make us lethargic... after a meal, sit quietly for 20 minutes and notice how your body/mind and spirit feels..
Do not get discouraged if the results do not zap in to place in a blink of an eye. Have patience! and think about how far you've come, not how far you have left to go!!
