I hope you'll be able to join this year's annual free online Winter Solstice gathering on Friday, December 20th at 7:30 pm EST. Bring a candle to light, we'll share in the Gayatri, and then I'll lead for you a complete Deep Rest Meditation, the theme will be 'Slowing Down'. All are welcome! Invite your friends and family, or come solo (no charge either way, just contact me for the link).
I particularly appreciate celebrating this celestial event because it's an observance that involves all people, across all cultures, traditions and identities. It is an opportunity to recognize our kinship with one other, and to be reminded that all of us together call this precious planet home. Sweet home, this spinning and revolving sphere of life that sways, generously tipping towards the sustenance of Sun and tipping away, offering us the grace of seasons... home. This Earth, our collective body, deserving of our deepest care and love! And then there is the simple fact that the Solstice is a lovely opportunity to celebrate as a community.
In the meantime, I wish you a radiant holiday season, may you replenish and restore vital energies and enjoy reconnection with the sacred, in whatever way is deeply meaningful to you.
