Iodine is a true building block to life on earth 🌎

One of the hormones that your thyroid creates is T3 (Triiodothyronine). Your thyroid needs Iodine to produce this hormone.

T3 hormones regulate almost every physiological process in the body.

Including growth and development.

🤰Before babies are born, it is crucial that mothers get enough iodine in their diets to ensure that the baby is growing properly. However, not all prenatal pills contain iodine.

Iodine is not an easy element to find 🔍

The planet can create iodine when lightning strikes the ocean. This happens roughly 500,000 times every day.

1000 tons of IODIDE evaporates off the ocean every day. When lightning strikes the ocean with the power of 300 million volts, this creates ozone. The ozone, in turn, will then react with the iodides converting them to IODINE. 🌩⚡️🌩⚡️ 🤯
