So much menopause content online is fear-based or oversimplified.
Let’s fix that 👇
1️⃣ Your brain isn’t eating itself — it’s adapting.
2️⃣ You’re never too young to ask about menopause. If it’s early, it needs treatment to protect your long-term health.
3️⃣ Using estrogen? Always ensure adequate progesterone — 100 mg daily or 200 mg for half the month. Anything less can raise endometrial cancer risk.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to teach a whole slew of my amazing colleagues in the - and this is exactly what it felt like the last couple months reading the research on ADHD and the connection with hormones in the female population. Or at least that’s how I imagined the folks trying to get the research out are sounding to the “powers that be”…with no response! 🤪

Soooo much of the research was like: yes we see a connection, yes there is biological plausability…YET for 40 years we have been asking to dig further to better understand how to support patients. To make standards of care we need higher powered studies.

There is literally ONE study actually measuring hormone levels along the side of symptamology (at least that I could find and had access to) - it was in a small group - but the results were significant- and we hear it from female patients to all the time

The consistent part across the board in every survey, metanalysis and statistics:

Females with ADHD are 3x more likely to have PMDD
Post partum depressions 3x’s more prevalent
45% vs 28% have significantly higher prenatal depressive symptoms in ADHD vs general population

In short - it’s not in your head that you struggle more in your luteal phase - find a care provider that listens and works with you to help build a strategy for YOU!

Most of us aren’t eating nearly enough protein — and it’s one of the biggest game-changers for energy, focus, maintianing muscle mass - and longevity! 💪

If you’ve been stuck at the old RDA, it’s time to aim higher.

Your future self (and your muscles) will thank you. ✨

The RDA gives us the bare minimum to prevent deficiency — not the amount needed to thrive.

Research shows that 1.2–1.6 g/kg is where women see real improvements in strength, metabolism, and healthy aging.

Small shift. Big impact. 🔁

How close are you to your optimal range?

16 weeks of strength, nutrition, reflection…

And some incredible realizations about who we’re becoming.

Community medicine hits differently.
It’s real. It’s raw. It’s powerful.

We need to start talking about bone health in our schools.
Because by the time we’re testing bone density in midlife — it’s already decades too late to build it.

💥 Up to 60% of our lifetime bone strength is built by early adulthood. The habits formed in childhood and adolescence — nutrition, movement, hormones — determine whether bones are strong enough to carry us through life.

After months of deep-diving into osteoporosis research with incredible colleagues, one thing hit me hard: ✨this is a ripple effect opportunity.✨

If we start earlier, we can change the trajectory of bone health for generations.

🦴 Let’s make some noise within our school boards.
Our kids deserve strong bones — and strong futures.
