Bear Waters Gathering participated in the 3 Fires Film Festival in Huntsville ON. It was an honour to watch the Indigenous created and directed film called the Gift of Fear related to human trafficking of Indigenous girls. Human S*x Trafficking is a real problem across this country and Bear Waters Gathering is going to be releasing a new course connecting Human Trafficking and Territorial Acknowledgements. As we honour National Indigenous Peoples Day across this country Bear Waters Gathering had the honour of working collaboratively with Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare in providing the Educational content for their NIPD display at both the Bracebridge and Huntsville Hospital.
