I have just become a member of the Canadian Reiki Association! Modalities such as reiki are generally unregulated which can lead to people describing themselves as 'healers' without any formal training or experience. Associations such as the Canadian Reiki Association aims to ensure anyone under their name has a certain number of hours experience in the form of reviewed case studies, so you can be sure you're getting someone with both official qualifications and experience 😀

Nelson is taking this fiery leo season to new levels with the all encompassing heat and smoke lately! Cant help but see the beauty in these smoky, hazy mornings though. Hopefully this dramatic shift of energy will make way for some new growth, maybe we can latch onto some of this and make some needed changes in our own lives, whilst stopping to appreciate the beauty of the dust settling 💕

What is Reiki??

For those that don't know, Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique working with life force energy known as 'ki' ('chi' in Chinese medicine or 'prana' in Indian Ayurveda medicine). Life has a habit of upsetting this flow of energy within you causing or resulting in physical, emotional or spiritual imbalances. Reiki is a non-invasive treatment aimed at awakening the bodies natural ability to heal itself, getting you back to your natural state of being and able to live life to the fullest.

Reiki can be useful for, but not limited to:

Anxiety/depression
Stress
Feeling disconnected
Resilience
Digestive problems
Chronic pain

Staying true to this months full moon in Capricorn, I'm officially taking bookings for traditional Usui reiki treatments! This buck supermoon is giving off some serious out with the old and in with the new vibes and I'm feeling excited about finally being able to share this beautiful healing energy with you. If you're needing some energetic blocks removed to give you a boost towards fulfilling your personal goals then a reiki treatment could be just the ticket.
I'm offering 60 minute sessions for $55 (instead of $70) during July and August so I can meet as many of you lovely lot as possible! I will be practicing at 466 Josephine Street, Nelson and offering home appointments as well.

I live here now!! I have finally landed in Nelson, British Columbia and I could not be more excited to share reiki with its wonderful inhabitants 😄 A practice space is in the pipeline so im very close to taking my first bookings!
