Leticia Osei Psychotherapy

Leticia Osei Psychotherapy Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally drained? I help individuals, couples & teams navigate burnout, trauma, stress, anxiety and reconnect with themselves.

Psychotherapist | Google Workplace Facilitator You’ve been wanting to tell your story all along; you just needed someone who cares enough to listen without judgment. I’m Leticia. My primary goal is to provide individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, parenting issues, anger management issues, divorce, workplace racism/bullying, addiction, low self-esteem, and self-blame with a welcoming and safe environment to share their stories. By approaching your experiences from a strength-based, non-blaming, and non-pathological perspective, we can work together to explore the various aspects of your narrative and how they may have contributed to your current challenges. My background as a Registered Nurse has given me a unique perspective on mental health. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) I believe that mental health is not a linear phenomenon, but rather a multifaceted one that requires a holistic approach to address colonization, racism, trauma, and oppression. I use Emotion Focused Therapy in a culturally sensitive manner to help you express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a way that allows you to speak your truth, regain your power, and move forward with your life

Throughout our therapeutic journey, I will incorporate Trauma-Informed, Cognitive Behavioral, and Psychodynamic Therapy to help you understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will create a treatment plan that is holistic, practical, culturally sensitive, and based on evidence-based practices. I would be honoured to be the vessel through which you can heal the parts of yourself that have been holding you back from living a fully functioning life. Price Range

Many people think they’re “failing” when they’re actually overwhelmed.

Not because they don’t care, but because they’ve spent years prioritizing everyone else.

Your feelings are valid.
Your body is aware.
And you don’t have to ignore it anymore.

Start with awareness:
Where are you saying “yes” out of habit or fear?
Noticing is already progress.

You can be successful, dependable, and deeply tired all at once.

When I recently led Google Canada’s wellness workshop, one thing stood out: high achievers aren’t burning out from laziness; they’ve just forgotten how to rest.

Feeling empty inside isn’t failure, it’s your body’s way of saying, “Slow down.”

I’m Leticia Osei, a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Nurse, and Burnout Recovery Specialist. Let’s help you feel like you again.

The performance paradox: doing everything right but feeling worse.

You've optimized your sleep, workouts, schedule, relationships. Everything's tracked and automated. On paper, you're winning.

But there's this feeling underneath. Like running a background program you can't shut down.

Here's what's happening: You've treated life like a problem to solve instead of a life to live.

Years of extracting value from every moment creates a nervous system that only knows how to DO. It forgets how to BE.

A CEO told me: "I can't remember the last time I felt excited without calculating if it's the best use of my time."

The real cost? You don't lose the ability to do. You lose the ability to want.

The fix isn't another productivity system. It's permission to be inefficient. To waste time on purpose. To engage with life as an experience, not a project.

This isn't laziness. This is maintenance.

YOUR CHALLENGE: Block one unplanned hour this week. No goal. No productivity. Real downtime.

Notice the discomfort. That's data.

QUESTION: In ten years, do you see yourself happy or just well-managed?

We all want to be seen, valued, and appreciated.

There’s nothing wrong with that. But when your sense of worth is tied to chasing approval from others, you start to drift away from "yourself ".

We shape-shift to be liked, to be chosen, and to feel worthy.

But every time you seek validation, you hand your worth to someone else.
Seeking validation isn’t always obvious.

It can sound like:
“Did I do enough?”
“Do they like me?”
“Am I disappointing someone?”

And while these questions may comfort us in the short term, every time we do, we abandon the "self ". Real healing begins when we stop seeking validation and start giving ourselves acceptance.

When we start trusting the "self", the very antidote to self-abandonment, we stop chasing approval.

And the moment you start validating yourself, you stop needing the world to do it for you.

Not every “I’m fine” means fine.
Sometimes it’s code for “I’m trying my best.”

Let’s normalize being honest about how we’re doing.

Drop a 💛 if you’ve ever said “I’m fine” when you weren’t.

When achievement becomes identity, rest starts to feel unsafe🕊️

You’ve hit the goals, checked the boxes ✅
and yet… it still doesn’t feel like enough. That’s what burnout can look like for high achievers💭

It’s not always collapsing.

Sometimes it’s showing up, performing, and feeling emptier with every win🏆➡️💔

That quiet emptiness after achievement? That’s not failure.

That’s your body and mind whispering,
“I can’t keep living only in the doing” 🫶🏽

When your worth gets tied to achievement, it’s easy to lose touch with who you are; without the title, the role, the next goal.

But here’s the truth:
✨ You are more than what you accomplish.
✨ You deserve a life that feels full, not just a résumé that looks full.

Therapy can help you reconnect with the parts of you that got buried beneath performance; the joy🌸, the curiosity 🌿, the calm 🌙 that don’t need a gold star ⭐ to exist.

💛 Book a consultation with LeticiaOseiPsychotherapy.

Let’s help you rediscover who you are beyond the doing.

✨ In therapy, healing doesn’t just happen in the room; it continues in the spaces between sessions. 🌿 Between sessions, life keeps happening, and that’s why I love incorporating other clinical resources to support clients’ healing.

📚 One powerful way to support this process is through carefully chosen clinical resources like books. These resources give clients tools to deepen self-awareness, reflect between sessions, and practice new skills in real time.

One book I often recommend is Atomic Habits by James Clear. He says, “Small habits don’t add up. They compound. That’s the power of atomic habits.” 💡

In therapy, this idea shows up all the time. Big emotional shifts usually start with tiny, consistent changes — like naming your feelings 🗣️, practicing self-kindness 💛, or showing up for yourself even on tough days 🌧️.

These resources don’t take the place of therapy, but they give clients something to hold on to — something real — as they navigate their healing journey at their own pace. 🌱 They help clients build systems that support growth, one small, meaningful step at a time. 🪴

My Master's degree graduation wasn’t just about celebrating a degree.

I wasn’t just celebrating a milestone, I was honoring the late nights, the doubts, the “can I really do this?” moments, and the countless times I had to remind myself to keep going.

Graduating reminded me of something important: our careers and our growth journeys aren’t linear. We stumble, we pivot, we take detours, and each step is part of what shapes us.

That’s why I’m so passionate about career coaching.

I know firsthand what it’s like to stand at a crossroads, to wonder what’s next, and to crave a path that feels aligned with who you are becoming, not just the job title you hold.

👉 If you’re feeling lost, at a crossroads, or simply ready for a change, career coaching can give you the clarity and tools you need to move forward with both purpose and peace.

Because your career isn’t separate from your mental health. It’s part of your whole self. 💼💛
