Something I’ve noticed lately.
Health seems to be all about nutrition and fitness. Which are important, don’t get me wrong, but this is such a limited perspective.
The health industry seems to have become so focused on weight loss that everyone has the next “quick fix” or fad diet that can work miracles.
All these health coaches saying try keto, or do clean eating and that will solve all your problems. Or just exercise everyday and you will be the healthiest you have ever been!
Except you can’t out exercise a bad diet and lifestyle.
The real cornerstone of health, which I think is getting more recognition lately (especially after the last year and a half) is mental health.
It doesn’t matter how healthy you eat if you feel stressed, overwhelmed and exhausted everyday.
It doesn’t matter how much you exercise if you can’t deal with your emotions or set boundaries.
Even if you have the best intentions to change your habits, they are so deeply ingrained that you don’t even notice them.
Maybe you don’t realize that critical voice in your head is telling you that you shouldn’t bother doing something because you would probably fail anyway.
Or maybe you don’t feel like you’re good enough.
This is what the “traditional view” of health is missing.
That everything is connected. Your mind and body are synergistically working together.
When one is out of balance, it affects the other.
This is where I come in.
With a Holistic approach.
One that brings balance between your mind and body. One that looks at your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
I am passionate about mental health, sharing my own struggles and helping you to overcome yours.
Let me help you. If you are struggling with stress, overwhelm, exhaustion and resentment as a mom, I know how you feel.
You can be vibrant, balanced and have time for yourself, ALL while still being a kick ass mom. It IS possible.
Let’s take that first step together.
