Cymbopogon martini - also known as Palmarosa 🌿 it has been used in tropical countries where it grows naturally as a protection against infection and flu like symptoms. It's also an analgesic for neuralgia and arthritis. Why? Because its chemistry is up to 85% alcohols, specifically geraniol, linalol and up to 10% esters, specifically geranyl, acetate. Makes it strongly anti-infectious and anti-bacterial. In clinical applications it's been used in sick rooms in many different ways.
