The Childhood Lie

"The Childhood Lie"


I sat, back-to-back with a soldier sitting on the rock, on the right, in the trees of Waverly Woods, Fort Erie, notebook and pen in hand.
It was summer of 2013.

I asked him to give me his thoughts, send them through me so that I could write them down and capture them.

He prepared me with the thought that he would be sending me a poem, that I should just begin, and he would continue.

I wrote the first line — three words. The rest was him....

Column 73

Hey lightworker, I would like to take you back, to the first, oh, 20 years of your life. There will be several unique details in these years because you are a lightworker, but right now I want you to focus on your interaction with other people back then. And if you take the time to explore -- your first people trained you how to be with the following people.

You were trained, in one way or another, to be a natural counsellor. This can come in many forms -- from having a counsellor for a parent (formally or informally), to being born into a situation that taught you how to take care of one or both parents; to reverse the roles at some point.

There are many areas to cover here but first let me go back to my first sentence. Think of the first 20 years of your life. Think of your friends, their personalities, the common relationship dynamics. Think of the gatherings and events you attended and what went down within you, with you, and all around you for you to witness...

"...I see in my journey that lightworkers tend to be traveling in stages. There are those who have completed several awakening phases, opened to a diverse and flexible way of thinking, have lost the need to control their lives and the lives of others, have established adjusted boundaries, changed programmed patterns, heightened their energetic vibrations and made physical / body changes. Wow, that was tiring just typing that out! Yes, it’s quite the extensive journey — and there are no shortcuts — but so, so worth it. These people are now in positions of sharing their experiences with others, along with the messages, information and insight they’ve acquired along the way.

We must walk the walk, heal from the walk, then talk the talk, and walk away..."
