Mornings are my favourite time of day. 😍 Up and out at the sugar shack before the sunrise to get the fire burning, the sap boiling and to sit with my coffee and pups and watch/listen to nature wake up. So grateful for a brand new day. 🌞🌞

It’s that time of year again…one of our favourites! Time to make liquid gold! The boiling begins tomorrow. 😍

And here we went again…..their daily 2pm walk…much colder than the first time….this was actually their 4th walk today. 🤣...

And here we went again…..their daily 2pm walk…much colder than the first time….this was actually their 4th walk today. 🤣

You know it’s cold outside when the creek starts to freeze. 😳

1st walk with me at 5:30am, 30 minutes, rain, +2C.

2nd walk with Daddy at 8:30am, 20 minutes, snowing & blowing, -3C, felt like -11C.

3rd walk with me at 11:30am, 20 minutes, snowing & blowing and -12C, felt like -20C.

4th walk with me, 30 minutes, snowing & blowing, -15C and feels like -26C.

They will get one more walk at dinner time and then a quick p*e before bed.

We must love these two! 😍❤️😍

As cold as it is out there it feels good to stretch my legs and get some very fresh air. 😁

These two were running around and Lily was rolling in the snow; Scout chasing everything blowing in the wind, having the time of their lives and not bothered by anything.

20 minutes was plenty in this weather. Thank goodness we stuck to the ravines and tree lines for protection from the wind. 💨💨❄️❄️

My frown lines say it all! 🤣🤣

Now they rest. ❤️ Stay safe everyone. 🙏🏻

And the winner is…..🤣 When daddy gets on the floor to stretch Scout thinks it’s playtime! 😍
