I offer individual sessions and clinical art therapy sessions. I am also bilingual and offer services in French or in English.

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to share Envision Psychotherapy's Holidays Hours. I only have a few spots left on December 22nd if people are wanting right before Christmas. Afterwards, I will be back in office as of Monday January 5th.

Envision Psychotherapy is happy to present the second series of their grief group: Envisioned Healing. The projected dates are for Wednesday evenings in February-March. The sessions will occur in-person in North Bay, Ontario with Joëlle Myre, a Registered Psychotherapist as the facilitator.

The sessions are loosely structured to allow meaningful healing with the presenting concerns the clients may have around their individualized grief. What people can anticipate is to gain tools on how to manage their grief, learn how to navigate themes and imagery and learn to reconnect to everyday life and to others.

At Envision Psychotherapy we know that grief is not easy, but you or a person you know who is struggling do not need to overcome this alone. Let's grow around the loss together.

I need to take a moment to thank you all so much for your continued support! This year, I won a silver award in the community votes, North Bay. I placed fourth amongst other amazing therapy practitioners. Congratulations on all who got nominated and that received recognition. I know that I am personally very humbled to have received this honor and hope to continue to serve North Bay to the best of my ability. Thank you so much!

On September 30th every year, it is important to give reflection to Indigenous peoples and the wrongs that have happened to them, their families and ancestors. Although this day is a day of truth and reconciliation, it is important that we always remember our dark history and learn from it, so that it does not repeat itself again.

I have known and still meet people that have been directly impacted from residential schools. I am always truly honored to learn from them and to help ease the weight on their shoulders from the traumatic burden that they have endured. Let's break the stigma that it's in the past because trauma often doesn't come with an expiry date.

Let's talk about it and check in with people today.

Just enjoying my Sunday morning! If I were to practice my gratitude today, one of those things would be this mug (cuz it's so fricken cute), another would be the coffee inside and lastly the changing colors outside and cooler season ahead!

Last Friday I planned a very special clinical art therapy group. We started by going for a walk and gathering nature tokens, while being very thankful and mindful of nature. We then proceeded to creating some rubbing art, where we would make impressions of what we had gathered with pastels.

I was so proud of the effort of the group because pastels is not an easy medium as it is incredibly messy, but they persevered and really let go and enjoyed creating. I am so thankful to be able to do sessions like this and have the liberty to create little workshops that encourage mindfulness in nature, and bring about a curious mind for expression and for creation. I am fortunate to see the growth and resilience in adults who identify with disabilities. The only limit is our own mind when it comes to creating art.

The art tokens will be used to create collages in our next session, where we grow our appreciation for the beauty of northern Ontario and it's diverse color scheme this time of year.

Take some time to appreciate fall's changing colors.

Aujourd'hui c'était la fête du drapeau Franco-Ontarien. Cela fait 50 ans que les personnes qui identifies comme francophone en Ontario peuvent démontrer leurs fiertés. Je suis très reconnaissante de mes racines et Envision Psychothérapie a une mission de faciliter des services envers la santé mentale bilingue.

Today was the 50th anniversary to the Franco Ontarian flag. People who identify as francophone in Ontario really celebrated and demonstrated their pride today. I am very thankful for my upbringing and roots in a bilingual household. At Envision Psychotherapy, my mission is to facilitate mental health services and bridge the gap for french speaking psychotherapy services.

One of my values is to uphold traditions that mean a lot to me. Yesterday, I got to learn how to make dills. After growing up around others' canning, I am looking to make that a part of my own annual life practice.

We were a bit ambitious with the quantity, but we know that we have plenty to share with others, too. I didn't just connect with my mom yesterday, but also, I have jars to give to connect with others, and I got to connect with my elders that I have seen can before that may not be here anymore. What a lovely French tradition that we have!
