What a beautiful act of kindness! 💕 Amazing job to our Seasons Royal Oak Village Seniorosity (Seniors + Generosity) Group for the time, care, and love you put into giving back and filling bellies! 🥪 Your compassion truly makes a difference and reminds us how powerful community can be.

A Huge Thank You to Karen Anderson & the “Seniorosity” Group!

Today, Karen Anderson from Seasons Royal Oak Village LaSalle, along with her amazing team of helpers, stopped by The Soup Shack with a beautiful act of kindness.

Their “Seniorosity” group…a mix of Seniors + Generosity…came together to make and individually wrap 250 Peanut Butter & Jam sandwiches for our guests to enjoy. 🥪

This group of 20 caring residents put so much love and effort into preparing each sandwich, and it truly made a difference for the guests we serve.

We are so grateful for your compassion, teamwork, and the joy you brought into our space today.

Thank you for reminding us how powerful community really is. 🤍 🙏🏻

Today, Seasons Retirement Communities came together to pause, reflect, and remember. ❤️

Across our communities, residents and team members honoured those who served, those who continue to serve, and the veterans who proudly call Seasons home. This week, our veteran residents have also been celebrated and honoured by the greater community — thank you for recognizing their incredible contributions and stories.

We’re also wrapping up our Pennies for Poppies collection! Thank you to everyone who donated — your generosity will support local Legion Poppy Funds.

On Remembrance Day, Seasons Retirement Communities honours the courage, sacrifice, and service of Canada’s veterans and active military members, many of whom we are proud to call our residents, family members, and friends.

We pause to reflect on their stories, their bravery, and the freedoms we enjoy because of them. At Seasons, we are privileged to care for and learn from those who have given so much. Lest we forget. 🌺

From one Seasons community to the next, our gardens stand in tribute. ❤️ Residents and team members across our communities have planted our annual poppy displays to honour the brave individuals who served. From now until Nov 11th, donations will be collected and given to the community’s local Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.

In honour of Remembrance Day in November, all Seasons residences launch the Pennies for Poppies Signature Program from November 1st to 11th. Donations will be collected and given to the community’s local Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund. Contact your local Seasons Retirement Communities for more information!

Seasons residents recently took an exciting trip to TRIUMF, Canada’s national particle accelerator centre! 💫

The tour offered a fascinating glimpse into groundbreaking research in nuclear and particle physics, accelerator science, and more. ⚛️

The visit was extra special for two of our residents, John and Jaroslav, who both worked at TRIUMF in its early days. Returning to their former workplace brought back wonderful memories — and pride in seeing how far the centre has come since their time there. 💙

A day filled with curiosity, learning, and nostalgia!

Our residents brought their A-game this spooky season with some seriously creative pumpkin designs — and our team members couldn’t resist joining the fun! From spooky to silly, each carving was a masterpiece.

Seasons was honoured to spend a meaningful day learning and connecting through First Nations culture. 🪶

Fun Manager Lisa’s son led a smudge to start the day, followed by special guest Darcy of the Navajo Nation, who shared his traditions, performed a beautiful dance, and hosted a thoughtful Q&A. Later, local artist Tanya helped residents craft stunning dream catchers while sharing the stories behind them. 🌙✨

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn, reflect, and celebrate culture and understanding together. ❤️
