I’m a WELLNESS & LIFESTYLE COACH that specializes in helping women through Perimenopause and Menopause, after advising your doctor or Holistic Practitioner. I’ve always been a body-positive advocate and self-love junkie! Attempting to prove to women that when you feel better you do better! I really want women to be proactive and support their bodies in a way that helps them get through “the change” in life. Allowing them to avoid or lessen the symptoms that come along with Perimenopause and Menopause. I figure out what your personal health and wellness issues are, how they intersect and how that may be diminishing your personal power & HORMONAL HEALTH. I have very unique credentials, such as being a NLP Practitioner, Transformation Specialist and Hormone Health Specialist, giving me the ability to help get clients through the changes we experience as women as well as help ditch limiting beliefs and create healthy habits that stick. I'm not void of body issues; physically, mentally and emotionally. After 31 years in the Health & Fitness industry, that’s what helped me and encouraged me to evolve to health coaching.

Perimenopause doesn’t ease in... it crashes the party. 😭

The stumble is real… but so is the comeback. 💪

I’ve been in the health, wellness, and fitness industry for most of my life, teaching others how to move, eat well, and take care of themselves.

So when perimenopause hit, I honestly thought I’d be fine.
But it hit hard.🤯

The years of extreme exercise, restrictive eating, and constant “push harder” mindset finally caught up to me. My body started sending signals I couldn’t ignore anymore.

Eventually, I had to take a big step back and really listen, to rest, to recover, to unlearn.

Now I’m years post-menopause, and the symptoms that once took me down are mostly gone. I’m a proud member of the U of T Masters Track Club and sprinting again, something I never imagined would be possible for me again. 🏃🏻‍♀️

To every woman going through it: I see you.

There’s light on the other side.
Sometimes, healing means letting go of who we were and embracing a whole new way of wellness. 🌸

Joining the U of T Masters Track Club has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. 👟👟

The community, the support, and the energy are truly unmatched — so different from my days as a fitness competitor, when it often felt like a solo pursuit.

Now, every lap, every sprint, every challenge is shared with people who cheer you on and celebrate your progress. No matter what level you are. 🙏🏻

It's not about how you look. It's not about deprivation. When someone wins you aren't questioned about why they won because they won due to performance. Not how they look.

At 55, chasing this goal has pushed me harder than ever — but it’s also reminded me how powerful it feels to be part of something bigger than yourself. 🏃‍♀️💙💛

The glow-up no one talks about 📣

Aging is wild. One day you’re chasing trends, the next you’re chasing peace, hydration, and comfortable pants.

But here’s the plot twist: it’s actually amazing. 💃🏻

You start caring less about what people think, more about how you feel. You stop performing and start living.

Fewer hangovers, stronger boundaries, better skincare, and zero tolerance for nonsense.

If that’s getting older — sign me up twice. ✌🏻😁

“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” ~Sophia Loren 🌼

It's my 3rd week in Toronto. Loving my neighborhood.

Meeting new people.

Challenging myself is part of what makes me feel younger and supports aging well. 🙏🏻

When I say this, I don't mean how I look or lack of wrinkles.

It's about a feeling. A feeling of being youthful and enjoying life.

We only have one shot at this and I'm not going out miserable. 🙌🏻

Stop. Breathe. Be. 🧘🏻

We’ve all heard “stop and smell the roses”—but in menopause, it’s not just a poetic suggestion, it’s a nervous system necessity.

A few posts back, I shared how menopause changes the way our nervous system responds to stress. When estrogen dips, our stress resilience dips too, making it harder to stay calm, think clearly, and keep our body’s systems in sync. 👍🏻

Here’s the kicker: women are world-class at overfilling their schedules and feeling guilty for resting. But constant “go mode” is like running a marathon without water—it’s not sustainable, and your nervous system pays the price. 😵‍💫

Your best defence?

✨Make space for relaxing, soothing activities.

✨Prioritise real, restorative sleep.

✨Say “no” more often (without apology).

✨Ask for help when you need it.

✨Tune in to your body’s cues—and honour them.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do… is stop and smell the roses! 🌹🌹

So… you used to binge true crime, but now you can’t even handle a suspenseful Pixar moment without checking how it ends? 👀

You're not broken. You're just in menopause — and your nervous system is asking for peace, not plot twists.

The truth? Your first step isn’t “fixing” anything.

It’s acknowledging that you’re not broken.

✨ I’ll share some tips to help in the next post — stay tuned! 💛

Big goals after 50? Absolutely. 🙌🏻 But let’s get one thing straight: you have to start where you are, not where you wish you were.

I’m training to sprint with the University of Toronto Masters Track & Field Club—tryouts are a month away. I’ve got a track background, but it’s been a minute… and let’s be honest, lifting in the gym isn’t quite the same as flying down a straightaway.

I started in January. Since then? A few wins, a few setbacks, and a couple injuries that reminded me I’m not 25 anymore—but I am stronger, more focused, and way ahead of where I started. 🏃🏻‍♀️

This kind of goal doesn’t happen by winging it last minute—and neither does any health goal. Whether it’s stepping into the gym for the first time or chasing a sprinting dream at 55 (in two days 🎉), it’s all about respecting the process.

Our bodies don’t love extremes. They love consistency. They love being nudged, not shocked. One step, one lift, one interval at a time—that’s how we build resilience and real change.

Forget hacks and shortcuts. Your health deserves better than bandaid solutions. You deserve better. ♥️

Let’s normalize ambition at any age—and let’s celebrate the slow, strong climb.

The evolution of a woman isn’t always loud — but it’s always powerful. 🙌🏻

It happens in quiet moments when she chooses herself.

In the boundaries she sets without apology.

In the way she no longer shrinks to make others comfortable.

It’s in the silence she learns to love, the strength she builds after every fall, and the softness she no longer sees as weakness. 💝

She may not announce her growth, but you’ll feel it when she walks in the room; grounded, wise, and unapologetically her.

This isn’t about becoming someone new.....

It’s about returning to who she always was before the world told her otherwise. 💯🫶🏻
