In honour of Admin Day, we wanted to highlight our most valuable member - Jess 💖

Jess is so much more than a Client Care Coordinator; she is a safe space, a sounding board, a healing aura and an agent of calm.

Whether you’ve texted or called our phone lines, checked in at the front desk or have had the privilege of visiting with Jess, you know how special she truly is.

Part of what makes Jess so amazing at her role is that before joining the KR family, she came with years of experience and passion for helping others. Not only is Jess a trained breath work practitioner and Reiki healer, but she previously worked as a family school liaison worker in the foothills region.

Jess is the glue that holds the soul of KR together, and we are so grateful that she chooses to serve our community everyday. We love you, Jess! 😘

Please welcome the newest member of the KR family, Kat Handley! ✨💃🏻

is joining the team as a full-time therapist at our Okotoks Healing Hub. Kat describes her therapy style as action-oriented, warm, creative and inclusive. As a certified vinyasa yoga teacher and a dancer, she offers unique somatic practices to help clients reconnect with their bodies, manage stress, and develop self-soothing tools.

She is a hot dog connoisseur 🌭
Kat lived in Europe for four years ✈️
She loves to dance and roller skate 🛼
Kat plays bass in a band (with our therapist, Jed!) 🎶
She Enjoys thrifting 🛍️

Kat work with clients aged 12 and up, and has particular experience supporting folks with substance misuse, sex/sexuality, disordered eating, self harming, OCD and more ❤️

BIG NEWS ‼️🎉

Our clients (and team) have been asking us for YEARS to consider opening a second location in Calgary… and we are so excited to say we are making dreams come true come 🪄✨

Coming March 1st, our second location, the Inglewood Healing Hub will be accepting clients! Same team, same vibe, closer to home for people in the city 🌆

Located in the gorgeous Merlin Block building directly off of 9th off, access via transit is simple and street parking is easy! 💓

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for updates on bookings, therapists who will be spending time downtown, and the space itself! 🥳👏🏼
