Arts for Peace community, I came across this local opportunity celebrating the international day of peace and wanted to share in case any of you can attend. It looks there is an in person and online option. - Annalise

Still basking in the memories we made back in June, members of our organizing team met today to do some early planning for "next time".

We are hopeful that we can put on another Arts for Peace in 2026. While we sort out those details, we invite you to tentatively "save the date" on your calendar.

We are proposing an earlier day in June for a variety of reasons - including heat waves!

TODAY's THE DAY!

With everything happening in the world, there’s no better time to come together and celebrate peace through artistic expression 💗

We’d love to see you this afternoon at the Leacock! Activities and performances kick off at 1:00 PM.

Things to bring: refillable water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, picnic blanket, and a snack (there are no vendors at our event) & an open heart.

A quick heads-up about 🚗 parking:
On-site spaces are limited, so if you can, we encourage walking, cycling, or getting dropped off. If you’re driving, check our last post for directions to the event parking lot.

It's all coming together! Our tent and stage are set up, and our volunteers are raring to go! We're ready for the magic of Arts for Peace to happen when our community comes together this Sunday ✨✨✨ ✨✨✨

Note that on site parking is limited (we encourage cycling, walking and being dropped off if possible) and the program begins at 1:00PM sharp! Consider planning to arrive a little early to catch the first performance 💗
