Day 3 of my Vagus Nerve Healing Journey 🌿✨

On Day 1, I did my energy work in the morning, and it set a beautiful tone for the day. On Day 2, I decided to do it at night instead—and let me tell you, my sleep was absolutely phenomenal! 💤 It was honestly the best sleep I've had in years. So, I’m thinking I might continue doing my energy work in the evening going forward.

The energy work I’m doing includes EFT, sound bathing, meditation, breathwork and Reiki. It's been such a grounding practice, and I'm noticing shifts already. 🙏

This morning, I weighed myself and saw I was up a couple of pounds. In the past, I would’ve gotten frustrated and said, “Screw it” and quit. But not this time. As much as I'd like to see the scale move in the other direction, I’m reminding myself that I’m not doing this for weight loss. I’m committed to healing my body, my mind, and my soul. That is what matters most to me right now—staying focused on my healing. 🌸

I’m still dealing with some challenges. I still can't hear out of my right ear and I'm still very stuffed up. The pain persists, along with constant back pain, headaches, sleep apnea, and anxiety. But this is only Day 3. I’m not expecting perfection, just progress. I remain confident and committed, trusting that with patience and love, healing is on its way.

To anyone else out there on a similar healing path, I see you. This journey is tough, but we are stronger than we realize. 💛

🌱 Day 1 of 90: A Journey to Heal My Vagus Nerve 🌱

Today marks the first step in my 90-day journey of supporting my body, mind, and spirit through the Vagus Nerve Repair Program. I'm grounding myself in a nurturing routine that honors my body’s natural ability to heal and thrive.

I started the morning with a powerful elixir made from lemon, ginger, and turmeric—nature’s healing ingredients that gently awaken and support the body. This vibrant tonic set the tone for a mindful and intentional day.

Next, I practiced EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and repeated affirmations, centering myself and embracing a positive mindset. Journaling my emotions and sensations in the quiet of the morning allowed me to reflect deeply on how my body and mind are responding to this new practice.

Did some work, but I made sure to nourish my body with a delicious green smoothie filled with fresh greens, berries, and other vibrant, nutrient-packed ingredients. I’m focusing on fueling my body with healing foods that align with my intention of restoring my vagus nerve.

Later today, I’ll engage in a gentle workout, followed by some quiet time reading and meditating with frequency healing. This evening, I’ll close my day with a frequency healing meditation to support the calm and rejuvenating process of my body’s self-repair.

Tomorrow’s plan: I feel drawn to start and end the day with frequency healing and meditation. It’s amazing how small, consistent steps can create lasting change.

Every choice today was a loving gesture toward my wellness, and I am so excited for the next 89 days of this beautiful journey.

The Shift Is Real: My 90-Day Vagus Nerve Healing Journey—Ready, Set, Prepare!

Friends, if you’ve been following along, you know I’m all in on this 90-day journey to heal my vagus nerve. But before diving in, I had to do the mental and physical prep work. This shift is big, and it’s not something you just jump into—it takes intention and focus. 🌱

The Mental Game: Healing Starts in the Mind 🧠
I couldn’t rush it. I needed time to get clear on my blockages and traumas. Journaling has been a huge part of understanding where I’m starting and will continue to be my anchor throughout this journey, allowing me to track my progress, process emotions, and stay deeply connected to my healing path. I’m approaching this with patience and love, allowing myself to meet each day with presence, no pressure. ✨

The Physical Prep: Setting Myself Up for Success 🛒
I’ve stocked my kitchen with everything I need, set up my frequency work, and mapped out my meditation practice. I’m ready to show up for myself, no stress, just consistency. 🧘‍♀️

The Journey Ahead: No Looking Back 🔮
Healing isn’t a quick fix, but I’ve got everything in place to make it sustainable. I’m here to heal my vagus nerve, transform my nervous system, and step into a balanced, vibrant version of myself. The shift is real—and I’m ready for it. 💪

🌿✨ I’m officially ramping up for my 90 days of healing my vagus nerve! 🧘‍♀️💪

These practices will be my daily non-negotiables as I dive deep into healing my body, mind, and spirit:

🧘‍♀️ Breathwork – I’ll be guiding myself with my own program, plus joining breathwork classes with my mentor to deepen my practice 🌬️
💖 EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) – I’ll be practicing on myself with everything I’ve learned from my certification 👐
🧘 Meditation – I’ll be doing my own personal practice and also leading others in guided meditations, which will support my own healing process 🕯️
📓 Journaling – I’ll be using the 365 Journal, which will guide me in working through blocks, traumas, and emotional healing along the way ✍️
❄️ Cold Therapy – While I won’t always have access to cold tubs, I’ll take advantage of the winter weather, and cold showers and baths to awaken my body ❄️
🥗 Diet – I’m nourishing my body with anti-inflammatory, whole foods to support healing 🍏

🌟 Reiki – As a Reiki Master Teacher, I’ll be doing Reiki on myself, and also participating in Reiki sessions from other practitioners for added healing energy ✨
🔊 Frequencies – I’ll be using frequencies on myself, and also working with a friend who also specializes in frequency healing, for added healing to support my journey 🎶

I’ll be sharing more detailed updates periodically about each practice and, of course, my progress!

🚨 Big News! 🚨

As many of you know, my journey has been all about losing weight and training for competitions in the past. But now, I’m stepping into a new chapter. This time, it’s not just about aesthetics or performance—it's about healing something deep within me: my vagus nerve.

So, what is the vagus nerve? 🤔
It’s a critical part of the body’s nervous system that connects the brain to major organs, like the heart and gut. It's often called the “wandering nerve” because it impacts everything from digestion to emotional regulation. It’s directly tied to the gut-brain connection, and when it’s out of balance, it can wreak havoc on both your body and mind.

When your vagus nerve isn't functioning properly, everything from your digestion to your mental state can be affected. I’ve been dealing with so many of these symptoms myself, and after years of not having answers, I finally know why:

Ailments and Symptoms of a Dysfunctional Vagus Nerve:
🧬 Chronic Fatigue: The vagus nerve helps regulate energy levels, and if it’s not functioning properly, it can leave you feeling drained and exhausted all the time, no matter how much rest you get.

🧬 Digestive Issues: Since the vagus nerve controls gut function, it can cause issues like bloating, indigestion, constipation, or IBS. If your gut isn't properly communicating with your brain, everything gets thrown off.

🧬 Mood Swings & Anxiety: The vagus nerve plays a huge role in regulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps calm your stress response. Dysfunction here can lead to anxiety, panic attacks, and emotional instability.

🧬 Fight-or-Flight Response: A malfunctioning vagus nerve can prevent your body from properly shifting out of fight-or-flight mode (sympathetic dominance). This leaves you in a chronic stress state, increasing anxiety, blood pressure, and even physical tension.

🧬 Heart Problems: Vagus nerve dysfunction can affect your heart rate variability, leading to irregular heartbeats, palpitations, or even increased blood pressure.

🧬 Inflammation: The vagus nerve has anti-inflammatory effects, so if it’s not working properly, chronic inflammation can set in, contributing to conditions like arthritis, autoimmune diseases, chronic pain, and joint or bone pain.

🧬 Sleep Disorders: Poor vagal tone is often linked with insomnia or poor sleep quality, including more serious issues like sleep apnea, making it difficult to get the deep, restorative sleep your body needs to heal.

🧬 Brain Fog & Memory Issues: As the vagus nerve affects communication between the gut and brain, it can lead to issues with concentration, mental clarity, and memory.

🧬 Cancer Risk: There’s emerging research suggesting that vagus nerve dysfunction may be associated with an increased risk of cancer, likely due to its effects on inflammation, immune system regulation, and overall cell health.

🧬 Weight Gain: A malfunctioning vagus nerve can affect the regulation of appetite and metabolism, often leading to unexplained weight gain, especially when paired with digestive issues and hormonal imbalances.

For the past four and a half years, I’ve struggled with feeling constantly tired, drained, and dealing with most of the above health issues with no real answers. After a ton of research and reflection, I’ve finally figured it out—my vagus nerve has been out of sync. It’s the result of past trauma, present traumas, and stress, among other things—and it’s time to heal.

🔑 So, how am I going to do this?
Over the next 90 days, I’m committing to building new habits that will help me regenerate and support my vagus nerve. This will include:

🍏 Diet: Eating foods that support the nervous system and gut health.

✨ EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques): Using tapping to release emotional blockages.

💫 Meditation & Breathwork: Practicing techniques that calm and regulate the nervous system.

💞 Other Healing Practices: I’ll share along the way!

I’m doing this because I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. I’m ready for real answers, and I’m ready to finally feel like myself again.
