A wise group of people once said “I get knocked down, but I get up again” -
I’ve been reminiscing a lot with friends about our old adventures and time on the road. Anyone who has ever travelled with me always says with surprise “ I just can’t believe how smoothly everything went.. we did everything... there wasn’t any big issues” and that is due to my super a**l planning. I know travel can be really fun and spontaneous, but if you’re anything like me than you understand time is of the essence.
Before any trip I poll together what me and said adventure buddies want to do and than devise a master plan. It’s a ton of work but it’s always worth it, we hit every spot and activity within your time frame and budget. I know it’s sad the uncertainty of travel, but a reminder that now is a great time to work on your big plans!☺️ Especially if you’ve always wanted to do a bigger scale backpacking trip! When I saw how close ln full moon was, I ran and grabbed my camera. I hadn’t gone over my notes for night shoots or lunar shots, so I did as any amateur photographer would... I started shooting and playing with settings as I went. I have along way to go but it was a fun experiment. Which shot do you like best 1,2, or 3?

What ? you thought a terrible deadly virus was gonna put a damper on my 27th birthday...oh no no, this gal will be drinking wine in iso with the fam and dancing to lots of ABBA!
Last year my birthday was spent in NOLA for Mardi Gras and this year we are all on lockdown in a very stressful time. It’s moments like this where you really do just have to make the most of it. Look for tiny joys, get out in the sun and just wiggle your butt to some records. Who else is big on birthdays!? Or is it just like any other day to you?

How strange it is, to finally understand the importance of holding someone’s hand, grabbing coffee with a dear friend, goodbye hugs, etc. Perhaps in the future we won’t take these little gifts for granted❤️

When they tell you to self isolate as if I haven’t been practicing for this moment my whole life🤘
I know some people are worried or frustrated but the best thing to do is stick to your quarantine and try to make the most of it. There’s so many great books you can read, films to watch, poems to write, Friends to skype, spells to cast etc etc. I’d be happy to share any recommendations, let me know what yours are!? Good book/movie recs are always accepted from this gal🤘☕️📚
