Hey guys! 👋🏼

I’ve had a couple questions about how to better your splits or standing splits. Here’s some exercises/stretches that help to master your full splits. It is important to hold a stretch for 30-60 seconds repeating 2 to 3 times.
📸
1. Full split
2. Lunge
3. Pyramid
4. Low lunge or lizard
5. Half split
6. Half Pigeon or full
7. Head to toe
8. Lower into full splits with the help of blocks.
9. Keep your hips square and gently lower the blocks as needed.

*** also super helpful to practice your full split against a wall. 🙂

A 55 minute yoga class focused on your HIPS. This class will help to strengthen and stretch your hips. Lately with sitting a lot more than normal, it is important to keep your hip joints moving and mobilised. These hip openers will increase hip flexibility and help to loosen stiff hips. If you are new to yoga or feeling stiff you may want to have a couple yoga blocks for support.
