Cupping Therapy!

Cupping is now offered here at Sydenham Health & Wellness!
Brittany Stewart and Kimberly Snel are now certified in cupping.

What Is Cupping?
Cupping is a safe treatment that uses suction which helps lift and release connective tissue restrictions and adhesions. Cupping can be very effective in increasing someone’s range of motion. It is a great form of myofascial release providing great results. The suction of the cups brings blood flow to the area that has been stagnant. In doing so this helps engage the nervous system.

It Is Not A Bruise!
It is a misconception that cupping causes bruises. Although the marks can last 1-2 weeks they do not hurt. They are made up of metabolic waste, blood and other stagnant material that has been brought to the surface from the suction of the cups, which helps it to be flushed away.
