Validation!! I always felt “sick” when I got super excited - feeling like I suddenly had chills and a bad flu. Once I passed out and got stepped over and told not to be dramatic but I actually did collapse. I never said anything to anyone because “everyone passes out”.

Not everyone has to go home from field trips hours away the first night. I wasn't scared, I was excited. I WASN’T SICK!! I didn't suck at sports, I actually have a cardiac condition that causes BP chaos.

I can't change my upbringing and how much I missed in school, or misinterpreted by my parents. I wasn't lying, faking, or lazy. Logan couldn't tell I had POTS, I don't think Mya did either. I know several dogs could looking back, aside from Rogue.

Looking ahead, there is help and treatment, as POTS is more than feeling “dizzy”. It’s a full blown disability.

Eyes like whiskey filtered through sunlight. My little Cortana is growing very quickly and absolutely beautiful. She adores the camera and all the attention!
