➡️Register for free Mental Health First Aid Training

Parents and caregivers of North Grenville are invited to register for free Mental Health First Aid Training led by the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health Team.

Teens face numerous stressors that can sometimes put them at risk of anxiety, depression, or substance use challenges. Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches parents and caregivers about mental health and substance use challenges. The training will provide parents and caregivers with the language and strategies necessary to engage the youth(s) in their lives about mental health and substance use. If you have questions about how to talk with your teen(s) about mental health, this is your opportunity!

The free Mental Health First Aid Training is courtesy of the Municipality of North Grenville. The training is open to 18 parents/caregivers and will take place on Friday, March 13th, 2026, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre – Suite B.

Community Canvas – Week 3 Update 🎨

Week 3 of Community Canvas was all about momentum and meaningful progress!

Participants continued building on their personal canvases, adding layers, details, and confidence as their pieces evolved. It’s been inspiring to watch each artwork take on its own personality as creativity continues to shine.

Our collaborative canvases also saw exciting developments this week, with bold colours and shared ideas bringing them closer to completion. These collective works truly reflect the spirit of connection and creativity that Community Canvas is all about.

With only a couple of sessions left, the energy in the room is buzzing—and we can’t wait to see how everything comes together in the final weeks.

✔️ Report any vaccines your child receives to Southeast Public Health by the deadline in your notice.

Your child will receive a suspension order if Southeast Public Health's records are not up to date by the deadline.

Community Canvas – Week 2 Update 🎨

Week 2 of Community Canvas was a blast!
We had an incredible time painting alongside the talented Maureen McNeil, as participants began creating their own personal canvases to take home at the end of the program. Creativity was flowing, and it was amazing to see each unique piece start to come to life.

In addition to the individual works, our three large collaborative canvases are well underway and will be beautifully framed and displayed in our Community Program Room once complete.

As promised, here’s your Week 2 progress update—and we’re just getting started! We can’t wait to pick up the brushes again this Thursday and keep the momentum going.
